Hello Meeow.I think it's too early with only 10 days into the process for anyone to say you will stay like this in terms of swelling. Most likely, this is swelling, but seeing your plastic surgeon and having an examination in-person and confirming the diagnosis is the best approach. Best wishes, Dr. ALDO :)
Thank you for your question and photos. You should expect to have swelling for three to six months following tummy tuck surgery. Use of a properly fitted compression garment will help decrease the length and severity of the post-operative swelling. As the swelling decreases, the contour of your abdomen, flanks, and hips will dramatically improve. Please follow your plastic surgeons specific advice regarding your level of physical activity. Hope this helps and good luck with your recovery.

This has been a consistent timeframe for my patients. I hope this has been helpful to you.

It should be totally safe to undergo these procedures together as long as you are healthy and your board certified plastic surgeon feels it is appropriate. Those surgeries generally go well together. I hope this helps.
