Question

I am looking for upper and lower abdomen liposuction or tummy tuck. I don't know how else to describe it, but i need about 2-3" deep of fat removed from bra line to pelvis, side to side. Is there a particular procedure that would be best for this type of removal? Please see pictures. Thank You

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your
photograph, you are a great candidate for a tummy tuck with liposuction.  This can be done through a low and short
incision, all completely below the bikini line. 
The belly button can be designed to look natural and have no scars on
the exterior.   Your muscles can also be
plicated resulting in a flat abdomen. 
Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of
real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate
their results.  The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are
comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified
board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

You appear to be an excellent candidate for a full tummy tuck. The abdominal skin excision could give you an excellent contour as well as muscle repair to improve the tone of the anterior abdominal wall. Liposuction could be performed to improve the contour of your flanks and hips at the time of tummy tuck surgery. Please see a board certified plastic surgeon for an in-person examination to discuss the specific details of the procedures. Thanks for your question and the photos. Body contouring can removed excess fat with liposuction. In addition skin and fat can be removed and the muscle tightened with an abdominoplasty. You definitely would need a surgical procedure to see a good result. CoolSculpting and other office procedures are not going to help. An exam would be helpful to assess how much the waistline can be improved. For patients who have a significant amount of fat "inside" their abdomen, it is harder to appreciably reduce their circumference. Find a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in your area who is an ASAPS member and specializes in aesthetic body contouring. Best of Luck!

A  tummy tuck would tighten your muscles with an "internal corset"( after having been stretched out having children or gaining weight), remove some stretchmarks, tailor and tighten the skin, and the combined liposuction would coutour your figure for the an hourglass shape. Based only on your limited photographs a full liposuction abdominoplasty would be the best solution. Liposuction of the entire abdomen, especially the middle and lower parts, would be done, followed by muscle repair, skin removal and repositioning of the belly button.
If you are in good health and your fat is external to the muscles of the abdominal wall, you appear to be a great candidate.

Your pictures show a round shape to the abdomen and this can be related to volume from the fat layer as well the weakness to the muscle layer. I suspect given your age it is a combination of both. Based on your limited photo, you appear to be anatomically a candidate for a full tummy tuck and liposuction of selective areas. It is difficult to tell whether you are a good candidate without a physical examination and complete medical history. It would depend on your anatomical findings, motivation, general medical health  and realistic expectations . An abdominoplasty should generally be delayed until you are within 10 - 15 pounds of your ideal weight  Lesser procedures will not produce a good cosmetic result in a patient with your anatomy.
 
 If a member of my family underwent a tummy tuck, it would be performed by an experienced plastic surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) . If you are serious about undergoing these procedures, you should have a thorough consultation with a plastic surgeon having those credentials, who will fully explain what is entailed in the procedures, including both the positives and potential problems. You should be complimented on the fact that you are seeking valid information before jumping into any procedure.

Thank you for your question. It will be difficult to know if weakness in the muscles causing the bulge or not by looking at the picture. It most of the fat above the muscle lipo will be better. I recommend you consult with a board certified PS evaluation.
