I was having a lot of BII symptoms: brain fog, rashes, trouble sleeping, extreme inflammation, just to name a few. Dr Reiger has been my go to surgeon for many years there was no question I would have him remove them as well. Surgery was smooth and recovery easy. Happy with the result and didn't need a lift. I wouldn't change my decision to get them or get them out. He's done fantastic work either way!
A friend highly recommended Dr. Francis Rieger for my implant exchange. The original implants placed were done by a surgeon who is no longer practicing. I wanted the Sientra textured implants removed for peace of mind with all the current issues surrounding textured implants. Dr. Rieger and his staff were amiable, attentive, knowledgeable, and helped put my mind at ease. He went over all my options; he was very thorough and helped me make an informed decision. Dr. Rieger noticed that my previous implants were not the right size for body and shape. He adjusted the CC's of the new implants to improve my overall appearance, and now I feel sexy, love the way my bra's and shirts fit, and I feel more confident. The outcome is terrific. Post-op, I had minimal discomfort. I only took Tylenol Arthritis over the counter despite the prescriptions I was given and felt fine. I went back to work two weeks later. My incision sites healed well and look fantastic. The staff was there to help me every step of the way, and they were also very accommodating with my work scheduled and sometimes got me in during their lunch hour. They even assisted with forms and phone calls to Sientra regarding my exchange. If you want an experienced surgeon who has been practicing for many years, has vision, excellent skills, listens and treats you like family, you are in the right place. Don't trust just anyone; I highly recommend you trust Dr. Francis Rieger and his Team for all your future enhancements.
Motivation was that my original abdominoplasty surgeon was going to revise me & we were planning the procedure when he passed suddenly. To say I was devastated is an understatement. Suddenly I was on the journey of finding a new plastic surgeon, something I never thought I'd have to do & dreaded. I had irregularities in my scar with dog ears & puckering I wasn't happy with and the scar was very uneven, the scar came up much higher on one hip than the other. Updated on 8 Mar 2020: This went up before I was done, so here is the rest of the story. Dr Rieger is kind. He listened. I immediately felt comfortable and at ease with him and his staff. The office has a good feel/vibe and the warmth and caring felt is genuine. (Shout out to Angie & Nas—you ladies rock!) He explained how he could improve the scar and make it more symmetrical while removing the dog ears. It would be some work but he could definitely improve it. He listened to our questions (husband came along) answered them fully and provided the education needed to understand what would need to be done. We (ultimately my choice but I let my hubby have input) decided to go with Dr. Rieger. It was an easy decision after meeting him. Warm, sincere, kind, gentle AND excellent surgeon?!! I was ready! I was booked for surgeon in under 2 wks. and it went great! No surprises, yay! Post op I had Dr. Rieger’s cell number so I could call if I needed. It was great piece of mind. I’m now 8 wks post op and I have a *beautiful* scar! Seriously! He had to do A LOT OF WORK! He had to pull one side of the hip scar down, the other up, and work some magic to smooth it out. Kinda like a body shop, I had dents bumped out! ;-) Last week while laying down I was amazed I couldn’t see the scar! How?! Unless I bend while standing, I don’t see it! Dr. Rieger hid the scar in my natural contours!!! It was very exciting and reassured/affirmed to me that I did the right thing by having Dr. Rieger fix it. I’ll be posting photos when I get them at the next visit, then you can judge. I would absolutely do it again! Thank you from the bottom of my heart Dr. Rieger.
I traveled from California because I learned about Dr.Rieger after not finding a surgeon here in which I felt confidence. After meeting with him I made the decision to return to Florida for my face, eye and neck lifts. The three weeks that were involved with the surgery and follow-up care were well worth having my procedures performed by a surgeon I had total confidence in. I cannot recommend Dr. Rieger and his staff highly enough.
At age 70, I was jowly and, except if I were smiling, I looked moderately annoyed all the time. I consulted Dr. Rieger, and decided it was time for a face lift. The entire process and it’s results were perfect. This dear man and fine surgeon created a subtle and lasting result, so that anyone who becomes aware of my actual age remarks on how much younger I appear to be. That surgery happened 14 years ago, and I would add pictures, but I don’t want my sister-in-law to know! ; )
I knew from the beginning that I wanted Dr. Rieger to perform my BA. Not only did several of my friends recommend him, but just look at his reviews! His bedside manner is excellent and his office staff are wonderful. Dr. Rieger and his staff met all my expectations patiently spending time with me to get to know my goals and desires, taking the time to explain everything, and allowing me to make the final decision without pressure. Extra phone calls were taken in stride and the surgery prep was very smooth. Surgery and recovery went without incident and all follow up care has been thorough and unrushed. The end results are exactly what I wanted. No regrets!!
I would highly recommend Dr. Rieger. My nose was broken a few years ago and I was left with bumps all over the bridge of my nose from the bone fragments. Dr. Rieger smoothed all of the bumps out to make them level with the rest of my nose and my nose looks as if it was never broken. I couldn't believe how fantastic my results were. I cannot recommend him enough. Words do not describe how pleased I am with the result. His staff is easy to work with and readily available for any questions or concerns you may have. Dr. Rieger is extremely thorough and I felt very comfortable having him perform the procedure. I would give him and his staff an 11/10!
I had textured silicone implants under the muscle since 1989. I chose to remove implants and capsules without a lift. I am 6 days post op and couldn't be happier. Dr. Rieger was the best. I had very little pain and I think my breast look better than what they did with implants. I was a 34b before implants and a 34d with implants. I was worried how I would look since they were in for so long. It looks like I will be a 34b and I'm glad I decided to wait and see what they look like and then decide if I wanted a lift. I will not be getting a lift as I am happy with my results. I highly recommend Dr. Rieger at Hyde Park Plastic Surgery in Tampa ,Florida.
Dr. Rieger performed a Tummy Tuck (with a hernia repair) on me in April 2019. I am so happy with the results! I appreciated his attention to detail and willing to ask me what results I was looking for prior to the surgery. His entire office was engaged and gave me the personal attention needed. An outstanding experience!
I couldn’t be happier with my surgery results! Dr. Rieger is very kind and an excellent surgeon. My new nose has only subtle changes, so I still look like myself while also seeing the changes I wanted. Both Dr. Rieger and the staff are so nice and answered all my many questions. The recovery period seemed to go by fast and I found that the post-surgery compressions were much easier to remember if I set a phone alarm. I would definitely recommend Dr. Rieger to anyone considering rhinoplasty!
Good morning. Thank you for the question. I must say that although you have a wide gap between the breasts, assymetry to the breasts as you have noted, I don't feel that you have tuberous breast shape abnormalities. A full and thorough examination is always very helpful in determining this, however. Consult with a very qualified Plastic Surgeon, and best of luck to you!Frank Rieger M.D. Tampa Plastic Surgeon
Thanks for the question, and it would appear that you have ptosis of the left upper eyelid. Please have a thorough examination by a well qualified Plastic Surgeon, have a thorough discussion about this condition( as well as treatment). And be well assured that it can be treated and repaired properly.Good luck to you!Frank Rieger M.D. Tampa Plastic Surgeon
This is a good question, and quite honestly it may be a matter of choice to be discussed between the Plastic Surgeon and the patient. Be aware that there is a limit of approximately 1000cc to the total of the Liposuctioning if performed with a tummy tuck( at least this is the existing recommendation in Florida). I prefer to perform the tummy tuck and a limited amount of liposuctioning together, followed up by more extensive liposuctioning to be performed 6 months later if needed. Ask your Plastic Surgeon to advise you about his or her preference , Good luck to you!Frank Rieger M.D. Tampa Plastic Surgeon
This is a good question, but it is very unlikely that you would have another rupture because the new implants don't have a tendency to rupture at all. Fat injections will never give you the fullness that you had with the enlarged Allergan implants that you used previously.talk to a very qualified Plastic Surgeon and ask your questions.Good luck to you.Frank Rieger M.D. Tampa Plastic Surgeon
The answer is that they will probably look the same under the muscle, but in the lower pole of the breast where there is no muscle there may be an appearance difference if the saline implants have any rippling or fold differences than the silicone. Silicone implants weigh less than saline implants do, have less rippling in appearance, feel smoother much of the time, and are chosen the majority of the time when patients consider having a breast augmentation.Good luck to you!Frank Rieger M.D. Tampa Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
