Dear hollyberryx0,Thank you for your question. Taking your medication with not interact with the Juvederm injection, however some anti-inflammatory medications such as NSAIDs can increase your risk of bruising if taken before the injection or shortly after. Thank you for your question. I would discuss with your injector concerning into medications you should avoid after having Juvederm injection. In general, it should be okay for you to take an anti-inflammatory 1 day after your injection. One possible side effect from this could be an increase in bruising. We also recommend taking arnica montana to help with bruising and swelling after hyaluronic acid filler injection.I hope that this helps!–David Gilpin
NSAIDS-- Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs and any medications that increase blood flow like hexacosanoic acids (fish oils) are generally discouraged before injections and for a day or so after injections as they increase the chance for bruising. But, if you rely on these medications for medical issues then you can try herbal supplements like Arnica. It's best to discuss with your doctor as they have would have more information about your full medical record. Best, Dr. Onir

Yes, it should be OK to resume anti-inflammatory medication after the injection. It is wise to discontinue NSAID's 1-2 weeks prior to injection so that you may avoid bruising. After injection, it will take a few days before the NSAID's affect the platelets. Best wishes.
