I got 1ml injected 6 days ago I got most of it in my upper lip as it was very think and the tiniest amount in lower lip, the minute I was finished my top lip was huge with swelling, I bled a lot during the procedure but didn't bruise, 6 days on and swelling has gone down but my top lip is still way bigger than my bottom and is rock hard?

Answer: Juvederm for lips It can take about 2 weeks after Juvederm lip injections for the swelling to subside. If you are not happy at that time, please return to your injector for assessment. If you find your upper lip is too full, the Juvederm can be dissolved, however you may just require more filler for your lower lip.

Answer: Swelling after Juvederm I would expect your upper lip to be more swollen because it received more filler than the lower lip. If you allow a full two weeks for the swelling to resolve, the upper lip may diminish in size and look much better - even smaller than the lower lip. The proportions will improve. At two weeks check with your injector if you are still concerned. Best wishes.
