Well done, Liposuction will create some skin contraction from the scar tissue that forms from the procedure. This typically compensate for the potential created skin laxity from removing fat. The two typically cancel each other out, and unlike individuals who develop skin laxity from weight loss we typically don’t get a lot of added skin laxity from well done Liposuction. Secondary skin tightening, using bodytite, or renuvion, a.k.a. JPlasma, adds virtually nothing to Liposuction alone. I do not recommending adding these treatments because they’re a waste of money and they don’t deliver real results. I speak from first-hand experience when I say that these treatments failed to deliver quality results or visible improvements. In the end, there are only two variables, that really matter when it comes to quality body contouring outcomes. The first is the patient’s candidacy for the procedure in the first place. Individuals who have skin laxity are never going to get the same potential outcome as it goes who have tight skin. Skin laxity is the number one reason patients fail to be good candidates for both Liposuction and fat transfer. Patient should have a good understanding regarding their candidacy for surgery before scheduling any procedure. The second variable is providers selection. Delivering consistent quality, liposuction and fat transfer results is more difficult than most people realize. The number of plastic surgeons of mastered these procedures are in a small minority. There are a significant number of plastic surgeons, who simply are not good at either Liposuction or fat transfer. Poorly done body contouring can leave people permanently disfigured and poor Liposuction results are very difficult to correct. There are substantial differences in skill and experience among plastic surgeons when it comes to Liposuction. Defined the best provider. I suggest patient scheduled multiple in person, consultations with local providers who seem to have a lot of experience doing this procedure. During each consultation, ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before, and after pictures of the previous patient who has similar body characteristics to your own. An experienced plastic surgeon should have no difficulty showing you the before and after pictures of at least 50 previous patients. Being shown a handful of pre-selected images, representing the best results of a providers career is insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results look like in the hands of each provider, or how many of these procedures they’ve actually performed. With bad transfer recognize that early results can look very impressive, but do not in any way represents final results. After pictures should never be taken less than 3 to 6 months from the date of surgery in order to be a representative of the long-term final outcomes. Never assume that after pictures were taken in an appropriate time of manner. Always confirm when after pictures were taken in relationship to the date of surgery. There’s no correct number of consultations needed to find the right provider. The more consultations you scheduled the more likely you are to find the best provider. Considering how much variation there is a Liposuction and fat, transfer skill, including different plastic surgeons view of what the female body should look like I suggest, leaning on the side of being conservative and scheduling at least five consultations before committing to scheduling a permanent irreversible body contouring procedure.
