I got 2 syringes of voluma injected to my chin 2 months ago, and today I got a prescription from my determalogist to take minocycline for my acne. Can it make the filler dissolve quicker, or cause any other issues?

Answer: Antibiotics and Fillers You can definitely take your minocycline for acne post-Voluma injections. Antibiotics do not affect the filler in any way. Good luck and enjoy your Voluma.

Answer: Minocycline and fillers Thank you for your question someone1212. Voluma is a filler used to enhance the appearance of the face. There are no studies demonstrating the minocycline will affect the results of fillers. If I had a patient with this concern I would tell her not to worry. Please consult with a doctor for specific recommendations. Good luck!
