I am scared of the lip-lift surgery. Will something like a lip augmentation or lip filler reduce the distance and make me appear more youthful. I am 25/F
Answer: Shortening the philtrum--PDO nova threads Lip fillers won't shorten the philtrum, but they can improve shape. PDO nova threads can be used to lift the lips. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Lip lift Just get a lip lift. Fillers will not do it, threads will not work. You have a long upper lip and a lip lift can be done in the office comfortable and effectively. Look at some of my patient results and stories and watch our video to learn more.

Answer: Lip augmentation Thanks for your question. Strategically placed filler, containing hyaluronic acids such as Juvederm, Restylane, and Volbella, can create fuller volume in the lips. Indeed, it can even suddenly change the shape of the lip as well. However, if you have significant lip shape issues, such as a long upper lip or drooping corners, then you could opt additionally for other procedures, such as an upper and/or corner lip lift. Best to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in lip augmentation.

Answer: Lip fIllers Should Work smile1417. I also am not a fan of lip lift surgery because of scarring. Lip fillers should work for you, making the upper lip distance to nose look shorter. I would recommend conservative lip augmentation with Hyaluronic Acid, like Juvederm Ultra plus to see if you like the look. Another option is fat transfer which is more permanent. It is done under local anesthesia and fat is usually taken from the lower abdomen or thighs. Studies show that at least 1/3 of transferred fat last forever.
