I've had fillers twice and am unhappy with the shape they have caused my lips to be. My vermilion border is undefined and the pink of my lips are bulky and cover my front teeth a bit more than Id like... I was wondering if I could add a small amount of filler along the border of my upper lip to make them have more defined and appear closer to my nose. Will this add more bulk on my mouth?

Answer: Lip filler Thanks for your question! This absolutely can be performed. What you're describing is a conservative treatment to define the lips. Filler can be used for this exact reason! I recommend finding a facial surgeon who you trust and who does a lot of this procedure!Hope this helps and God Bless!Dr. Robb

Answer: Conservative Lip Augmentation Yes it is possible if done correctly and conservatively. I would recommend conservative lip augmentation with Hyaluronic Acid, like Juvederm Ultra plus to see if you like the look. Another option is fat transfer which is more permanent. It is done under local anesthesia and fat is usually taken from the lower abdomen or thighs. Studies show that at least 1/3 of transferred fat last forever. Seek out a board certified plastic surgeon in your area, Good Luck!
