Dear realself, I have an osteoma near my left temple (please see photo). It feels a little uncomfortable, like a push/force in the area. I would prefer local anesthesia, if possible. In-office procedure, if possible. Are there any insurances that tend to be good about covering this procedure? Also, do you have any recommendations around Indiana? Thank you.

I'm not aware of any non-surgical ways to lower a hairline. We can lower hairlines with forehead reduction surgery or with hair transplants. Forehead reduction tends to be the better option for most patients in my experience.Best,
