Dear elena1200, As per your post you seem to be experiencing face laxity, meaning your skin is losing its firmness and tightness which could be due to many factors like pregnancies weight loss stress etc. In such a case a full-face lift is most beneficial for a permanent solution it would target neck, midface and temporal area. I would suggest to look into expert surgeons who deals in scarless endoscopic vertical facelift which would give you a natural look after full recovery. Moreover, scarless would mean that the lift incisions will be hidden in you hairline and after full recovery will be invisble to see. I recommend vertical facefiit so that you dont get a pulled or artificial look. Furthermore, fat injections is also a technique I would suggest for the areas around your mouth for any deep wrinkles or smile lines, it would greatly fill in the lack of volume. In addition, thses fat injections will treat yourt weak chin as this will harmonize your side profile. Best Regards, TAS TEAM
Thank you for posting your question. Your age, skin elasticity, and facial volume should be taken into consideration when suggesting treatment options. A non-surgical facelift uses injectable dermal fillers to improve mild skin laxity and provide natural, uplifting results that may last up to one year.A facelift procedure can provide more long-term results to tighten and lift the skin and address fallen tissue. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon who can assess your concerns and help you select the best treatment option for you.
Is hard to make an evaluation with out a photo; after weight loss there is mainly "deflation" of different areas including face and neck wick cause loose skin. Depending on this factors, you medical history and your expectations face lift is an option to give again a refreshing look to the face. There are also non surgical options as Fillers (Juvederm), Fractional RF, Laser etc that can help in the meanwhile.Hope this help!
With weight loss, you would lose fat all over your body, including the face. That volume loss also means that you will have extra skin. The sagging of the skin leads to a tired, aged appearance of the face with deeper wrinkles. In general, more weight loss would lead to more sagging. It is difficult to give an exact plan without more details and photos. For more mild cases without much skin excess, fillers may be a good option to restore the lost volume, which will provide a small lift. For more severe cases, you would need a facelift to tighten the underlying tissues and remove the extra skin. Fat or fillers can be added at the time of facelift surgery if needed. I would recommend consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in facelifts for a thorough examination and discuss the best option for you.
Weight loss can significantly affect the skins quality and laxity. Depending on the severity of the excess skin and/or deepening of fine lines and wrinkles, multiple treatment options are available to give the face an overall rejuvenation. Facial fillers or fat transfer can help with any unwanted hollowing or volume loss; however, skin tightening may also have to be used in conjunction with those by incorporating a facelift or necklift. It is likely that a combination of treatments or procedures may be required, so the next step to take would be finding a qualified and experienced Board Certified plastic surgeon to do a full facial evaluation and provide you with a designated treatment plan to reach your desired goals.
Thank you for your question. In general, significant weight loss leads to volume loss in the mid-face laxity of the tissues around the lower part face and in the neck. Most frequently, facelift and neck lift procedure is suitable to improve the fullness in the mid-face by redistribution of the volume of the lower face to the mid-face and reduction in skin excess. If the contour of the neck appears good when you are lying down, it is possible that the facelift alone would be sufficient. If when you are lying down completely flat there is still some volume excess in the neck, in general a neck lift procedure is needed to create a balanced improvement for both face and neck.
Weight loss often results in sagging skin and loss of volume in the face, both of which contribute to a prematurely aged appearance. That is one reason why facelifts frequently include fat grafting in addition to lifting and re-shaping. Without pictures and more information, it isn't possible to make a specific recommendation for you other than to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon with experience.
Hello @elena1200, thank you for your question. It is important to develop a surgical plan or non surgical protocol that fits your possibilities, to fulfill your wishes for improvement and to take into account what can actually be achieved. I would encourage you to schedule a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon. During your consultation, your surgeon will be able to assess your unique needs and develop a treatment plan that is right for you. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS.
If there is a massive loss I advice you to go with a facelift, meaning surgery, but if there is no much skin we can start was a ultrasound focalizaed machine to be put in your face and neck, this produces skin contraction and also you can use hyaluronic acid to pull your cheeks upt, the combination of these tow non surgical methods will enhance your non surgical results
Weight loss is favorable on the rest of your body but not when it comes to your face. When a person undergoes significant weight loss, one looses volume in the cheek and neck. This leads to sagging and drooping in the cheek jowl and neck areas. There can be lots of excess saggy skin depending on your age. Usually the skin does not contract back if you are in your 4th or 5th decade of life and in order to correct that you would need a face and neck lift to reposition the tissues and remove excess stretched out skin
