Which lip filler do you recommend for a 61 year old female?

Its great to hear that you liked your Juvederm XC results.  That is still a good options.  A new filler which you can use in conjunction with the Juvederm is Volbella.  While Juvederm will help fill and define the lips, the Volbella is good for the vertical lip lines and perioral lines.Good Luck

Thank you for your question. Juvederm is an excellent choice for lip augmentation. Volbella is a new Juvederm HA product that has been specifically approved for lip augmentation. Please seek a qualified plastic surgeon or dermatologist for injection. 

If Juvederm XC worked well for you then I think it's smart to stay with what works. Restylane is good for volume and Restylane Silk for more subtle augmentation and fine lines.Speak with an experienced injector about your options.Best wishes, Dr. ALDO

Juvederm is a great option regardless of your age. You may look into Volbella as well. It is longer lasting HA filler. Good look!

Hi and thanks for your question. For the lip line and definition of the lip I would suggest Juvederm Volbella but for volume restoration and augmentation of the lip Restylane Kyss is a better option. There are many other products in the market

You would be a great candidate for Juvederm Volbela or Juvederm XC. Juvederm Volbella is a newer filler from the makes of Volbella and is specifically designed for the lips and the fine lines around the lips.  Both fillers last approximately one year in duration.  The combination of the two might be best in your 60's.  Posting photos would help to determine the best combination.  Please consult a board certified dermatologist who is an expert in lip fillers for the best cosmetic results.  Best, Dr. Green

There are several fillers that work well with the lips including Juvederm Ultra, Restylane, Volbella and Restylane Silk. I work mainly with Juvederm Ultra and Volbella for the lips; both are manufactured by Allergan. I use Juvederm Ultra when a patient requires volume. Volbella works great for lip definition and also allows me to treat perioral lines (lipstick lines, etc). Both have provided decent longevity in the lips with Volbella lasting up to a year in some cases. I would discuss with your injector, his/her preferences and recommendations.

There are many fillers now to choose from, but if you had good results with Juvederm XC in the past, you may want to use it again. Some of the "newer" fillers, such as Volbella and Restylane Silk are very good for the perioral lip lines but don't always last as long in some patients. I would speak with your physician regarding your concerns and let them help guide you, but Juvederm XC is a great choice. Best wishes.
