Thank you for sharing your question and congratulations on your lip augmentation. I tell patients to wait until the swelling from the first set of injections has resolved prior to pursuing additional augmentation, normally about 2 weeks. Hope this helps.
Results can take up to 1-2 weeks after injections. This gives time for swelling to resolve, but it's fine to get a touch-up of filler now. These fillers, (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are good to create a symmetrical and full lip. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
leesa. You are doing it the right way! While photos would be helpful, One half syringe is not a lot. If you desire to be a bit larger, go for it. It is easier to add more filler, but harder to take it away if you go too large! Good luck!
I generally request patients return two weeks after injection to see the results. That's been the traditional best time to another injection or touch up. Best wishes, Dr. Aldo
Hello, and thanks for your question.I would wait a few more days so that any swelling from your last injection could be expected to subside. Best of luck, Dr. Frucht.
I would say that the swelling has probably subsided and it is appropriate to get another injection. There is no real time limit. It is just swelling that can alter the shape/fullness of the lips which can alter how the injection is done.
Thanks for your question – we do recommend that you wait at least two weeks from the time of one injection to have another in the same area. There is always some swelling that needs to subside and to allow you to see the results that this gave you. If you want more filler at that time, that is usually fine by most providers.
Hello and thank you for your question. Swelling post filler injections can take 1-2 weeks to resolve. This is why if a second rounds of injections are needed, it is usually done after this period. If you think the swelling is gone, you can definitely have more filler injected. Hope this help. Good luck
Good Afternoon and thank you for your question. My suggestion would be to wait 2 weeks from the date of your injection to allow the swelling/bruising to subside. Once the full 10 day period has passed you are able to evaluate your final result and decide if you want more volume. Best of luck to you.
Thank you for your excellent question. I would suggest that you wait at least 2 weeks after the first injection to allow for normal postprocedure swelling and possibly bruising to resolve and to see your final result before proceeding with the second injection. Hope this helps and best wishes!
Hi, I have performed many lip augmentation procedures using dermal fillers or lip implants for over 30 years. From the photos, your lips could be a bit fuller. Following the beauty principles outlined in my book on face and body beauty, the upper lip should be approximately 75 % the size of ...
There is no treatment that is fully effective for these spots. They are normal glands on the lips. Lasers and/or microneedling/prp may give some improvement. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Thanks for your question and photos. It appears you would benefit from fillers and a a corner lip lift. There are three types of corner lip lifts , each of which provide their own idiosyncratic benefits. The noninvasive route would be fillers plus or minus a...
