These fillers, (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are good to create a symmetrical and full lip. Technique will be important here, so you will want someone meticulous. I recommend using cannulas with injections. Implants or fat are also options. See an expert for a formal evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs.  Based on your goals I would recommend conservative placement of a thin hyaluronic acid filler, such as Volbella.  This will help augment your lip size incrementally, while maintaining a natural look.

I suggest you speak with a certified injector with plenty of experience. To achieve the results you're looking for remember good communication is very important.

 Hi, I have performed many lip augmentation procedures using dermal fillers or lip implants for over 30 years. From the photos, your lips could be a bit fuller. Following the beauty principles outlined in my book on face and body beauty, the upper lip should be approximately 75 % the size of the lower lip for the lips to appear balanced. The lips can be augmented using a dermal filler or a Permalip implant.





Dermal filers and lip implants offer far more reliable volume to augment the lips than permanent fillers or fat injections that are also associated with increased, unwanted, side effects.

Thank you for adding your photos.  You already have good lip structure.  Adding a little more volume with a filler like Restylane or Juvederm would work very nicely for you.  These are temporary fillers that have to be reinjected in about a year.  I would be conservative at first as you can always add more if the initial injection does not give you the volume you are looking for.  If a cannula is used, you should not get too much swelling and bruising and you will be able to see the results right away.
