I got a full syringe of juvederm around 2 weeks ago and ever since then I have had a ton of little white spots on my upper lip only.. why is this? Also a second question, I have recently formed a little bubble in the middle of my gums.. is this from the injection? or perhaps just a blister?

Answer: White bumps The diffuse white bumps look like Fordyce spots and have always been present, but maybe more visible due to swelling. The one large white bump looks more like supperficiall placed filler. Please follow up with your treating physician if you continue to have concerns for an in person exam.

Answer: White spots on lips after Juvederm The white spots are one of a few things. They are either small collections of filler, minor salivary glands that have been pushed to the surface, or Fordyce spots. In any of the 3 cases, it is not of any concern and there is nothing to do. The blister is not shown but needs evaluation. It could be a herpetic lesion or could be filler collected.
