I had 3 syringes of undiluted Hylenex yesterday to dissolve 1 syringe of Juvederm Ultra Plus. Is that safe for the body?

Thank you for sharing your question.  Hylenex is safely administered into the body in order to dissolve the hyaluronic acid present in dermal fillers alone, not that found naturally in your tissues.  It appears that you had a good response, with full dissolution of your JVD ultra plus, and I would not expect you to have any issues.  Hope this helps.

Hyaluronidase is safe for the body and it sounds like you've had good results with it. If you remain concerned, I recommend following up with your Dr. For nasolabial folds, I recommend a combination approach with fillers to the folds themselves but also lifting around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support. Hyaluronidase is safe however there is a risk of severe allergic reaction which is extremely low .Although this risk is low , it is essential to be prepared in the event of its occurrence .
In the absence of allergy , your dosing is safe and yes juvederm ultra plus takes higher doses

Thanks for your question and we always recommend that you have these injections performed in the offices of board certified dermatologists or plastic surgeons as we are the true experts on how to use the fillers and how to dissolve them when needed.  It appears from all accounts that your provider did everything correctly and you should not have any concerns from this or if you ever want to have further injections – just make sure you are seeing the correct expert injector.

It is perfectly safe to have hyaluronidase injected to dissolve the fillers. It is safe to inject hyaluronidase to any area of the face that you had filler that needs to be dissolved. It sounds like you had a good treatment.  In the future please consult an expert in facial injections for the best cosmetic results. 

Thank you for your question.  I am pleased to read that you achieved a positive result from your hyaluronidase.  Please note that it is a safe injectable and there are no complications reported in using that dosage. I have used juvederm ultra plus in the nasolabial folds frequently for deep lines, but prefer to use voluma or restylane lyft in the back of the cheek to achieve a more natural result.
