I saw immediate results. The aftercare was easy to follow and the peeling was minimal. I will definitely do this treatment again to maximize my results , incorporating this into my skincare regimen!!!
I am a new client of Dr. Downie's and so far so good! I recently completed my first VI Peel and it exceeded my expectations! My skin glows and it's smooth to the touch! I would definitely recommend Dr. Downie AND the VI Peel!
My results were fabulous! I look so much younger. I have received so many compliments. No one can tell my age by my appearance. My skin is soft when you touch it. People tell me I have a glow. It is important to stay hydrated.
Visit for Acne wanted to get information on how to relieve my sudden skin issues. I have always had normal skin with no issues. In he past year I noticed my face starting breaking out as if I was a teenager. As a teen I didn't have bad acne my skin was normal. After constant break outs I decided to visit a dermatologist and to my surprise I was diagnosed with adult acne. The last doctor I visited really didn't"t make feel comfortable so I decided to seek another doctor . I found myself at Image Dermatology the office of Dr. Jeanine Downie.
I did it because I heard she was great and was wanted to make sure my face was taken care of properly
2 reasons, hydrosis & lines & wrinkles.
Hi there, you could have an autoimmune reaction, nodules from some type of a biofilm or just swelling. You may have had too much filler put in your lips at one time. Good luck, Dr. Downie
STUBHi there, Melasma is chronic and frustrating. I have it also. You must wear sunblock every day, and you must reapply every hour you are outside and every two hours you are inside. It should be reapplied. I would recommend VI peels every four weeks and Skin Medica's Lytera 2.0 twice daily. I recommend Skin Medica's Total Defense and Repair, which protects against UVA/UVB rays and visible light, and repairs Infrared damage. Above all, before correcting your pigmentary disorder, diligence and consistency with protection from the sun is paramount - and will be very challenging, albeit possible - when living in such a sunny climate.Good luck,
Hi there, your top lip is slightly over filled for the look you were hoping to achieve. There is nothing wrong with the skin above your upper lip. Every individual has lips that increase in size with filler differently. You may wish to go back to your board certified dermatologist and ask for Hyelenex. This is a Hyaluronidase which melts part of the filler away. Once some of it is dissolved, wait two weeks for it to settle in. You will probably like the way your lips looks much more. Good luck, Dr. Downie
Hi there, Yes, after it is normal to have very swollen lips after Vollure. Most fillers will swell your lips for three days to two weeks after you have had the injections. Your swelling is within the range of normal. I do a lot of Juvederm Vollure, Voluma, Ultra plus and Volbella. These products are all wonderful and all cause swelling in the lips. If you have any questions or have any pain I would recommend that you go see you board certified dermatologist immediately. Thank you and good luck,Dr Downie
Hi there, it is difficult to discuss what exactly your problem is as you have no disclosed pictures of yourself. What has happened here is her cheeks are over plumped with filler and there has been a significate amount of facial aging in the lower half of her face. The lower half of her face has lost volume and the upper half of her face has too much volume. She is also in costume for a show and I believe she is supposed to have a severe look. I have been injected filler since 1994, an experienced cosmetic dermatologist would know how to avoid altering your facial pattern so that you could seek and achieve beautiful symmetry. Good luck, Dr. Downie
