Exactly two weeks ago today I had my lips filled with 1/2 an ml of juvederm ultra. I already had very voluminous lips, I was just wanting to enhance them slightly. On the right side of my upper lip it looks as if my lip has been slightly over filled. My lips are still very smooth, the bump is not hard. I made a follow up with the Dr. Who did the injections, is this normal and is this something that can be fixed?

Thank
you for your question. This is caused by how the filler was placed. If this
persists after 2 weeks, I would have the filler dissolved with hyaluronidase. I
recommend having this evaluated by your treating physician. Best of Luck!
One syringe of Juvederm will be a very nice difference for you based on your photos. I doubt you will need more than that. You may not even want the whole syringe. The nice thing about fillers is that the results are immediate. You can stop when you get the look you want!
Good...
Thank you for your question. The smallest syringe of Juvederm is Ultra and Ultra Plus, it comes in a 0.4cc size syringe. The newest filler Volbella is sold in 0.55cc syringe. Juvederm is made by the company Allergan. Hope this information helps.
