9 months ago I had Jevederm injected into nosobial lines and around my mouth to lift corners. Near right upper corner after 4 days appeared a visible pale lump. The doctor did 2 hyaluronidase injections to dissolve it, but the lump didn't respond to it. Doctor was consulted by expert and she said that lump is because of poor blood supply in area. Is it vascular occlusion? The doctor says time is the best solution when Juvederm stops working blood flow will restore. Are there any other treatments

Answer: Will blood flow restart if I have had vascular occlusion near the upper lip corner?
Hyaluronidase is safe however there is a risk of severe allergic reaction which is extremely low .Although this risk is low , it is essential to be prepared in the event of its occurrence .
In the absence of allergy , your dosing is safe and yes juvederm ultra plus takes higher doses
Thank
you for your question. This is caused by how the filler was placed. If this
persists after 2 weeks, I would have the filler dissolved with hyaluronidase. I
recommend having this evaluated by your treating physician. Best of Luck!
