Thank you for your questionJuvederm is made from hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring substance in the body.it is safe and effective .Best wishesYucel Sarialtin, MD
Juvederm is made from hyaluronic acid, by a company called Allergan. It creates facial volume and fullness and can be used to augment cheeks and lips or minimize lines and wrinkles. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer
Juvederm is manufactured by the company Allergan, who also make Botox. It is non-animal derived and in performing 10's of thousands of filler sessions, I have yet to see a patient allergic to it. Depending on the product and where it is placed in the face, duration ranges from 4 months to a few years.Best of luck!
I use a great deal of Juvederm for non-surgical rejuvenation due to the fact that it's made of a naturally occurring substance already found in the skin, which is hyaluronic acid. Overtime, it does break down and can be dissolved is for any reason a patient is unhappy. While the product is safe, it's very important to see someone experienced for Juvederm treatments to ensure it's being injected properly and that you'll be satisfied with your results.
Thank you. Juvederm and Restylane is derived from a natural occcuring product called Hyaluronic Acid. This goes away as we age and it makes sense to replace it. Best wishes, Dr. Aldo
Juvederm is made from hyaluronic acid, which has been used as a filler material for years in Europe before reaching the US. Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of skin, so it is something natural to your body. One of the main features of aged skin is a loss of hyaluronic acid. So using a product that replaces this makes complete sense. Hyaluronic acid has several other benefits as well. It is long lasting (up to two years with some formulations) so is provides long term correction. It is very safe, with minimal side effects. Lastly it is reversible, so any unwanted effects can be corrected. All of the above combine to make hyaluronic acid the best material we have right now for injectable filler material.
Juvederm is a Hyaluronic Acid based filler. Hyaluronic acid is a compound that occurs in everyone's skin. There is no skin testing needed for this product. Best, Dr. Green
Juvederm is a family of dermal fillers manufactured by Allergan. Juvederm is made of hyaluronic acid, a normal component of our skin. Fillers like Juvederm can be used to soften lines and wrinkles, define and fill the lips, augment the cheeks, and sharpen the jawline. Filler injection is one of the most common cosmetic procedures performed in the U.S. each year, just behind Botox Cosmetic. Members of the Juvederm Family of Fillers include Juvederm Ultra/UltraPlus, Voluma, and Volbella.
Juvederm is made from hyaluronic acid, which occurs naturally in the human body. It draws in fluid which helps to give it the volumizing effect. The product lasts for approximately one year and breaks down gradually.
The DNA is modified in a species of bacteria called Streptococcus equi and they produce the hyaluronic acid in Juvederm. Then thru a process called "Hylacross technology", the hyaluronic acid is processed and crosslinked, to give it more longevity.
Continue to use hyaluronidase to reverse the filler. Occlusion symptoms are more than what you are describing. Best, Dr. Eemr.
Thank you for sharing your question. Hylenex is safely administered into the body in order to dissolve the hyaluronic acid present in dermal fillers alone, not that found naturally in your tissues. It appears that you had a good response, with full dissolution of your JVD ultra plus, and I...
Hi and thanks. Some of the fullness in the upper lip may still be from swelling. It's good to follow up with your injector and begin a discussion about your result. If still puffy in 6 weeks, then discuss using the enzyme to reduce HA, but not until swelling has gone down some more. Good luck,...
I'm not sure when you had your injections. It can take 1-2 weeks to resolve. If it's been longer than that, it can be reversed with hyaluronidase. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
One syringe of Juvederm will be a very nice difference for you based on your photos. I doubt you will need more than that. You may not even want the whole syringe. The nice thing about fillers is that the results are immediate. You can stop when you get the look you want! Good...
Juvederm comes in a prepackaged 1.0 ml syringe, but there are doctors who take that same syringe and repackage and even dilute it to be less or more. That becomes a problem as you may be paying for more than you actually receive. We don't do this as it makes less sense and often...
