I've had it done 3 times already , since the last time was done I still fell like there is something hard in my chin like it didn't desolve.. is that possible even after 4 months? I did feel at the last time I got the kybella that she didn't spread it around to much..And if I want to do chin Lipo how long should I wait? Thank you for you're time
Answer: Expect to see a change.... Thank you for this question. After 3 treatments, I would expect to see an improvement as well. I suggest you post your before and after photos for a better evaluation. You should go in and discuss these concerns with your injector and have an exam of the area that is troubling you right now under the chin. Your injector should be able to provide you with photos to post online.

Answer: Kybella and when to see results it is very important to see your before and after from all angles. Also your overall health/weight is also important. I find that generally after three treatments, there is definitely a reduction in fatty tissue. However, depending on your age and elastin production, the skin under the chin may not have firmed up and thus you see a disassified chin. Sometimes laser can help tighten up this area quicker after fat destruction.

Answer: Chin Contouring with VASER, ThermiRF, ultrasound or Kybella with Thermage/Ultherapy For best results with Kybella, I recommend a combination approach with thermage/ultherapy/exilis. Steroid injections may help with the lumps your feeling. VASER liposuction in combination with ThermiRF or ultrasound are best for contouring the chin, if you're a candidate. I recommend following up with your Doctor for a workable time-line. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Kybella, results Kybella is a great treatment for small pockets of submental fat. One of the biggest risks is persistent edema where a hard area persists for several weeks. Often, if this is present, it masks the results from the kybella. In my patients, I will sometimes inject a local steroid to reduce this if it persists. If there is still hardness in the area, that should be addressed prior to liposuction as this will make the liposuction harder to perform and less optimal results. Generally, I tell people to wait 4-6 months after Kybella for liposuction. Return to your physician and discuss the concerns of the hardness. If you are not satisfied with the results, I would recommend a consultation with a physician who performs both non-invasive and invasive techniques. Best of luck.

Answer: Kybella melts the fat cells in the neck area. Thank you for your question! Kybella melts the fat cells in the neck area. It does not alter lax skin. After 3 treatments I would expect you to see some results. Maybe Kybella is not the right treatment for you. Regarding the lump in your neck, I would make a check up appointment with your provider or choose a different provider to assess your case. Liposuction might be an option for you as well. It is hard to give you more precise opinion without picture provided. Best of luck!
