I have a clinically reduced upper lip and as a result, my teeth are always showing, and I hate it. Not only does it look bad, but I think the constant exposure to air also makes it hella hard to make them whiter? So they're exposed AND look yellow. I want to know if getting an upper lip augmentation might help cover my teeth more? Also worth noting that I got my teeth straightened via braces, so having an overbite isn't the problem.

Answer: Hide upper teeth? Lip augmentation with fillers Lip fillers will augment your lip shape and hide more of your teeth. Results can be very natural-looking and will feel very natural. I prefer to use a micro cannula to inject the lips to prevent bruising. Look for a cosmetic dermatologist or plastic surgeon who is an expert in fillers to discuss your desired results and concerns. I hope this helps.

Answer: Lip augmentation Dear miss artemisI typically use Juvederm for my lip sculpting. There are two main focuses of lip injections, adding volume and actually sculpting the shape. Both involve injecting the filler in different areas of the lips and patterns. I would recommend finding a plastic surgeon to perform you lip injections. Most of my patients have results that last at least 6 months.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
