I had a fantastic experience with my laser genesis treatment yesterday. I’m very excited to continue to see results. The staff is very kind and accommodating and I appreciate their help. I truly enjoy coming to Integrated Aesthetics for my skincare needs.
Dr. Chiang is very thorough and was able to address all my concerns about my skin . I came to see her about my melasma and also wanted fillers . I am so happy with my results ! She is an excellent doctor and her staff are truly amazing people !
Dr.Chiang has been helping me keep my skin healthy since the age of 15. When I recently came to her this time last year, we had a new journey to tackle with “maskne”. With a few trial and errors, we have landed on laser genesis treatments with her amazing esthetician team!
Dr. Chiang corrected an issue I had, supplied recommendation for an unrelated spot of concern, and recommended a conservative but effective path forward for both. She listened to my concerns and worked with me and my schedule to ‘make things happen’. She treated me like I have been a patient for years—and this review relates to my first visit. I have (and will) be back!
Dr. Chiang is extremely knowledgeable and has been treating my rosacea with great success. I always feel so welcome and comfortable during my treatments. She takes the time to educate me and addresses all my concerns. I am never rushed during appointments. Her and her entire staff are extremely professional and kind. I am forever grateful and consider myself a lifetime patient!
Dr. Chiang and her team are wonderful! They listen to what you would like to accomplish with your appearance, ask questions to make very certain they understand, explain the procedure, the outcome, what to expect post procedure. The team is very available to answer questions before and after care, and are all very personable. Dr. Chiang, and each member of her team, are very, very personable - delightful people to share your success with!
Dr Chiang and the entire staff and Integrated aesthetics are wonderful! They make you feel like you are their only patient because they listen and take the time to address all your concerns. I am always very pleased with the results I receive there. Dr. Chiang is a master with injections as well as has an exceptional eye for what is needed whether it be a filler or a different treatment. Maryl, Rhea, and Shelly are wonderful as well as the whole office. I am thankful for such professional, high caliber care! I highly recommend Dr Chiang and her team !

I think the angle of the camera when you take the picture can change the proportions, but I can give you some general guidelines for how to determine whether lip shortening can be helpful.1) easy rule of thumb (typically more of an issue in older people): if your lower lip hangs beneath the bottom of your upper teeth, it is probably on the long side2) more complicated rule, but is generally applicable: the lower third of the face, from the base of the nose to the chin, is ideally divided into 1/3 (base of nose to bottom of upper lip) and 2/3 (lower lip to bottom of chin). This ratio can be adjusted by shortening the upper lip or by augmenting (lengthening) the chin. The decision of what to do is based on how the lower face compares to the other thirds (upper face and middle face). If it is long compared to the other thirds, lip shortening should be considered. If it is short compared to the other thirds, we probably want to lengthen the chin.
If you liked your lips at the end of your procedure, then you will like your lips once the swelling goes down. Lips tend to swell quite a lot because they are very elastic. Also, sometimes the product that is used can contribute to swelling. Some products tend to swell more than others - Restylane silk is an example of a product that swells more, but also gives beautiful results. I always let my lip patients know about the likelihood of swelling before we do the procedure. Please give it about a week for all swelling to go away before you judge the results. Please be sure to visit a board-certified dermatologist, plastic, or facial plastic physician.
Lip filler can be helpful to reduce the amount of teeth that are showing. Considerations include: 1) keeping the upper lip volume in harmony with the lower lip (which can also be augmented to maintain proper proportions) 2) keeping the total lip volume in harmony with the size of your face. You look like you have a smaller jaw width, so I suspect that your face would not be able to easily carry off extremely voluminous lips. For that reason, you will likely be able to achieve reduction in the amount of teeth showing, but not complete resolution. Please be sure to visit a board-certified dermatologist, plastic, or facial plastic physician.
Feel free to use hyaluronidase as frequently as needed. Since you don't like the filler-in-the-NLF look, consider skin tightening (profound, ulthera, etc), or a thread lift, or filler in the midface, or a combination of all three. This will more closely approximate your original contours, so you will probably like the result better.
I would wait a couple weeks. I am slightly worried about the fact that you've had juvederm in the tear trough area. Juvederm draws more water, so it tends to give a more puffy look in the under-eye area.
