Sweat glands under my breasts, what can I do to fix this? (photos)

Question

I have small places that look something like blackheads except they are white all over under my breasts. No one seemed to know what they really are except one Dr that told me they are sweat glands. I believe this because I have major sweat under my breasts. I have even used maxi pads in my bra to help. What can I do about it?

Hello Blonde.Use of MiraDry in this area would be off-label which means it has not been studied for safety and efficiency by the FDA. Botox use in this area would also be off label. Both of these would be options for this area, but MiraDry would likely give you lasting results, while Botox must be performed about every 6 months.Best wishes, Dr. ALDO :)

An in-person consult would help but if there is confusion regarding the origin of these lesions, I would recommend you get one biopsied and get a definitive answer before committing to any treatment.  It's easy to do and will put an end to the question of what these lesions are.  Best of luck!

You may want to see a dermatologist to be examined.  Miradry is only approved for the underarms at this time, but the company may come up with treatment protocols to treat other areas of the body in the near future.

Hard to say without seeing you in person.  Typically, if you have large breasts this is a common complaint.  You can always try using baby powder, or try some Botox injections (which is off label in that area).  Another option is surgical and getting a breast reduction, if you are large in this area, will help. Hope this helps.
