Would I be a good candidate for surgery on the slope on my neck, my whole family has it (women). It gets worse with age as I've saw in my family, I am 20 years old. I am not overweight but even when I've been very slim, I've always had this slope. What could be done?
Answer: Neck Liposuction Thank you for your question and pictures. It appears that liposuction to the neck (which can be performed under local anaesthetic) could give you more of a contoured , L shaped neck. Please make sure you find a reputable and qualified plastic surgeon who can assess you properly to give you a realistic idea of what outcome you can achieve. All The Best

Answer: Jawline and neck liposuction is what you need. Liposuction of the jawline and neck is so easy and makes such a great improvement with patients driving themselves home and back to work in 1 day.

Answer: Short scar neck lift Hi there. Thank you for your post - it is not an unusual situation you describe and it can be quite frustrating as more exercise or attention to diet does not improve things. There are one or two options available to young patients with loss of neck contour. The simplest is liposuction under the chin - this often delivers a relatively modest improvement but young patients such as yourself may benefit. The next option to consider is a short scar neck lift (see link), which involves a 2.5-3cm incision underneath the chin and often leads to a much more dramatic improvement although it is slightly more invasive. Good luck!

Answer: Surgical options for neck contouring An in-person consultation and exam with an experienced plastic surgeon or facial plastic is a must, and will provide both you and your physician with valuable information. Your photo suggests a slightly weak chin and some fat collection in the neck. You may benefit from conservative chin augmentation with liposuction/ liposculpting of the neck; young people tend to have good quality skin, which can "shrink wrap" nicely after liposuction, while older individuals typically require skin removal with neck lifting surgery. Surgical treatment may be the most cost-effective solution in your case, both from a single recovery and financial perspective; other treatment options include the fat-melting Kybella injections and skin-tightening and fat-melting non-invasive cooling or heating treatments (like Coolsculpting). Schedule a consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss your treatment options, and good luck!

Answer: Sloped neck - consultation. Would I be a candidate for surgery? (Photo) Better photographs ( frontal and lateral) would be helpful to evaluate your neck. It appears that you would benefit from a chin augmentation. The increased projection of your chin would improve the appearance of your neck. Also, liposuction of your neck in combination with your chin may be helpful. Consult with an experienced facial surgeon to discuss your options.
