I can see the area under my chin sagging & when look down it looks like I have 2 chins. crepyness in center of neck. I am a thin woman 110lbs at 5'3". plastic surgeon who said I am too young for a neck lift & recommended I try Botox for platysmal bands and/or laser to tighten. nurse who normally does my Botox gave me the Botox in the neck. She said do not do the laser as it is a waste of time and money. Botox did nothing. why won't a surgeon do a neck lift at my age? Is there any other option?
Answer: Neck lift (platysmaplasty) would do the trick. A neck lift called a platysmaplasty would make a great improvement and is easy to undergo under local .

Answer: Skin Tightening -- VASER Hi-Definition Liposuction, ThermiRF, Renuvion, Thermage, Ultherapy, Novathreads / Instalift, BodyTite "These are all natural parts of the aging process. What we can do is try preventative treatments or get a neck lift / face lift earlier in the aging process. There are numerous non-surgical options available, and some can be used in combination to get best outcomes, but you would need a consultation with an expert. Some options for skin tightening include: - Thermage radiofrequency to heat the skin, tighten it over time, and prevent the aging process - Ultherapy high-intensity ultrasound to contract the muscle, tighten the face and neck, and prevent the aging process - PDO NovaThreads or InstaLift threads for immediate lifting without surgery and long-term collagen production - Sculptra injections for collagen production to areas of the face and neck with crepey skin or early sagging - BTL Exilis Ultra, Venus Legacy, and Thermi250 for monthly collagen stimulation with facials - ThermiRF, Renuvion (J Plasma), or Inmode BodyTite for internal heating and tightening with or without surgery - Fillers (or facial implants) to contour the jawline and chin to improve the appearance of the neck - Face lift / neck lift with fat grafting and fillers if you need a significant improvement I would suggest getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer"

The Laser Assisted Weekend Necklift is minimally invasive, avoiding the extensive incisions made around the hairline and ears during a conventional facelift. It can provide you a dramatically improve appearance along the jowls and neckline with a short recovery time. Answer: Necklift At 47, you have the typical changes that people get in their late 40's. Neck is acceptable in most positions, with some early platysmal banding. When you bend your neck, tissue piles up unacceptably. This is a dilemma for the patient and surgeon alike, as some may feel it is too early to have neck/face sugery. Less aggressive measures are not always the best solution. Lasering the neck skin or other methods in the hopes of improving the excess skin are less than successful. Injecting botox to take care of the bands is problematic, as it takes a lot of botox (I suspect much of it is wasted in the tissues) and it doesn't last very long. Often I take the step of a limited necklift to correct the problem, and I am pleasantly surprised that the neck corrects to a much better degree than I would have thought.

Answer: Neck lift at 47 Simply put, you are in the age range and have early indications whereby surgery would be beneficial. Since thisis more "finesse surgery", please see a Surgeon who focuses on faces.
