I’ve had lip fillers 5 times now (1ml each time, completes over the past 18 months) and the filler on my top lip sits above my lip line. Is there a way to have this fixed without having the filler dissolved?
Answer: Lip treatment Hello Emma, It would depend on how long the filler has been there. I would advise you see your treating practitioner and see if they can massage the filler back into the lip. Having said that, your top lip is looking either swollen or overfilled. It may be that the only way to correct this is to have is dissolved (providing it is hyaluronic acid). I hope this helps. All the best

Answer: Lip Fillers Emma. Unfortunately, it is not possible to move the filler into your lips from the upper poles. That filter needs to be dissolved with Hyaluronidase. However, There seems to be large amount of filler in the upper part of your upper lip and there is concern about placement of the filler in the correct location in first place. Be certain to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist. Good luck.

Answer: Hyaluronidase to reduce overfilled lips Hello and thank you for your question. There is no way to move the filler at this point. To reduce the filler that is above your lip line, your only option is to dissolve it with hyaluronidase. I suggest waiting longer in between treatments so as not to overfill your lips' capacity which forces filler to move outside the lip line. Best of luck.

Answer: Lip filler Hi Emma, Thank you for the question and photo. Yes, you seem to have a significant amount of filler above and beyond your upper lip. The only way to treat this is to dissolve that filler away. This can be avoided by the correct choice of filler and proper technique. I would consider seeing an experienced local practitioner for assessment and to see what could be done to avoid this in the future. Good luck! Dr Chris Macdonald CRM Aesthetics

Answer: Fillers Hello and thank you for your question! It is best to wait 2 weeks after your treatment to see full results, and allow for swelling to subside. If after this point, you are not satisfied with your results, see your board certified provider to see about having hyaluronidase injections to dissolve the areas in which you are not satisfied. Thank you and best of luck to you!
