Are there other ways to dissolve lip filler fast than by injection?

I was wondering if there is anything I could do at home to make my lip fillers dissolve faster than 9-12 months. I got a little too overfilled and the clinic I got them done at will not fix them.

Do you know what kind of filler you had injected? Do you know why the clinic that provided you with lip augmentation is unwilling to reverse it with hyaluronidase? That is quite unusual unless there is another piece to the puzzle not included in your question. As others have stated, the good news is that lip filler generally does not last as long as it does in other areas of the face due to the increased blood flow an movement of the area. This is especially true if it is one of the first times you have had injections. Warm regards.

Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved using hyaluronidase which has to be injected by a qualified medical professional. Unfortunately, there is not much else that can be done to reduce the amount of lip filler you have.

The only way to get fillers to dissolve is by injecting them with hyaluronidase, assuming you had Hyaluronic acid based fillers.

You do not say how long ago you had the fillers placed.  It may be that you still have some swelling which will resolve over time.  The only way to dissolve the filler is by injecting hyaluronidase.  The clinic that you went to should address this issue for you.

Injection with hyaluronidase is the only way to dissolve filler.  There is often a fair amount of swelling the first week or so after injection which goes down naturally.   The good news for you is that filler in the lips generally lasts around 6 months and wears off quicker than other areas.  Lana Long MD

Filler will dissolve over time, the only other way you can get rid of it is to be injected with hyaluronidase to dissolve the filler. You can try massaging the area however, if it has been a few weeks since you were injected, this may not work.
