Can I get Botox with this infection and feeling awful?

Generally speaking it is not a good idea to have cosmetic medical; treatments while you are ill.  There is no reason that you should proceed until you feel better.

I'm sorry you are not feeling well. It is best that you wait until your infection has resolved before proceeding with your Botox treatment.  

Your schedule is secondary.  You have an active injection and Botox injections should be delayed, even though they should not effect the course of your infection.  Botox can,  very rarely,  cause a flu-like illness and if you become more ill after an injection, it could possibly complicate your physician's ability to evaluate your status.

This likely is totally safe. Botox can interact with aminoglycoside antibiotics but these are not often used outside the hospital setting. However, given that Botox is an elective treatment, it is probably best to wait until after you've recovered from your illness. Although is is most likely very safe to have Botox in this situation,  if you were to take a turn for the worse, it could be blamed on Botox. I would wait until you were better.

Given that your schedule is tricky over the next week or two if you can get to the appointment it is safe to get the Botox and will not cause you any harm.  It honestly may help you recover knowing you will better. Do make sure you are up for making the effort and I would check with your injector first. Hope you recover quickly.

In general, if you are feeling this terrible it's better to forego any elective procedures.  You'll feel better if you wait until your respiratory infection passes.  Get well!
