Hello, What are the risks for Majoraplasty reduction? Could that affect pudendal nerves? How is the recovery? Would that reduce the cleft between the outer lips? (Not showing that deep); will I get rid of cameltoe appearance? Are the scars hidden? I would appreciated as much information as you can provide me. Thank you.
Answer: Will labia majora reduction cause problems"? Labia majora reduction is a very safe and effective procedure in experienced hands. With skill, the scars can be laid down in natural skin creases making them almost invisible. The pudendal nerves are nowhere near the surgical incisions used in these operations. They are much deeper than you might think.

Answer: Risks and benefits of labia Majoraplasty Based upon your photos you would benefit from this in terms of reducing the laxity of your outer lips. There is some sagging and if this is the issue bothering you then its a worthwhile procedure. In terms of risks and whatnot, you should not suffer nerve injury or loss of sensation. Risks include all the same for any surgery including bleeding and infection and the additional risk of cosmetic surgery - dissatisfaction with results. But in terms of difficulty of surgery, this repair is easier than the inner lips and vaginoplasty. Find an experienced doctor. Good luck

Answer: What are the risks for Majoraplasty reduction? Could that affect pudendal nerves? How is the recovery? Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. I do think you can achieve an improved contour with a reduction of your Labia Majora and in the right hands there is little risk of pudendal nerve injury. The best treatment is with a skin only excision of the tissues that does not involve the fat pad in the region so as to limit bruising and bleeding risks. Fine suture repair will help achieve the best appearing scar, and best hidden, scars. Be sure to see a specialist in consultation.

Answer: Labia Majoraplasty If done by a reputable labiaplasty specialist, the risk of pudendal nerve injury is about as close to zero as you can imagine. These nerves are much deeper than the labiaplasty surgical dissection should go. When performed properly, a natural sulcus (“cleft”) should remain between the minora and majora. Also, when executed well, the end result should reduce the “camel toe” appearance, although not always completely. Finally, an in-person consultation with physical exam will be very beneficial to determine if a labiaplasty of the minora +/- hoodectomy are also indicated to achieve the desired outcome. Glad to help.
