Once the skin is completely healed together, the sutures have disolved and you are cleared by your surgeon, you can resume waxing. This is typically around 4-6 weeks after surgery.
Bikini waxing can be resumed when your labiaplasty scars have healed. This takes at least six weeks, but might take longer for some women. See your surgeon to make sure.
This is a question that should be directed to your surgeon. I usually tell my patients to wait about 6 weeks or so, as long as their recovery goes smoothly.
I would wait at least 8 weeks or more before a bikini wax. Any tugging on the adjacent tissue can cause intense pain if the area isn't completely healed.
Thank you for your question. Once the healing is completed and there are no open areas one should be able to resume waxing. The tissues will be sensitive for several weeks and most patients are able to resume waxing in 3-6 weeks. Please check with your surgeon regarding their recommendations. Good luck.
Thanks for your question! As a rule, 6 weeks should be enough time. Although technically, the waxing will not be directly on the labia minora (since they have no hair follicles), it could put stress on the incision through the pulling nature of that treatment. For that reason, I would recommend getting the green light from your surgeon who performed the labiaplasty before doing the waxing. Although 6 weeks should be enough time, in some rare cases, it may not be and no one knows what was involved in placing that scar there better than the doctor who did the procedure. It is always a good idea to get input from the one who performed the surgery, as they will be intimately familiar with any nuances regarding your specific case, whereas those of us answering your question can only give you generic advice.
Thank you for sharing your excellent question. Assuming an uncomplicated recovery, I would wait at least six weeks from your procedure before performing a wax. Hope this helps.
I suggest that you not have any waxing done until you have your final post operative visit with your surgeon and are given an okay to do so. This is usually about 6-8 weeks.

You should also follow these other post-operative instructions: Pain management: Your surgeon may prescribe medications to help manage pain and discomfort. Incision care: Follow your surgeon's post-surgical instructions for incision care. Avoid blood thinners: Don't take aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, or other blood thinners until your surgeon says it's safe. Avoid heating pads and ice packs: Don't apply heating pads or ice packs to the treated areas unless your surgeon says it's okay. Thank you for sharing. Massaging areas of induration after procedure may be uncomfortable and could also cause prolonged healing. The hardness that you feel is your body's natural response to the healing of the incision. This area will eventually soften on it's own without any intervention. Give...
Hi and thank you for your question. Swelling from a hematoma can delay the healing process. I would advise for you to be patient It may take a little longer but it should heal to the results you are expecting. Best wishes!
It is recommended to wait at least four weeks before having sex after labiaplasty. This is because your incision sites will need to fully heal prior to penetration. Nothing should enter the vagina, including tampons, for minimum of four weeks after surgery.
