I would wait at least 8 weeks or more before a bikini wax. Any tugging on the adjacent tissue can cause intense pain if the area isn't completely healed.

This is a question that should be directed to your surgeon. I usually tell my patients to wait about 6 weeks or so, as long as their recovery goes smoothly.

Once the skin is completely healed together, the sutures have disolved and you are cleared by your surgeon, you can resume waxing. This is typically around 4-6 weeks after surgery.

Thank you for your question.  Once the healing is completed and there are no open areas one should be able to resume waxing.  The tissues will be sensitive for several weeks and most patients are able to resume waxing in 3-6 weeks.  Please check with your surgeon regarding their recommendations.  Good luck.

Thanks for your question!  As a rule, 6 weeks should be enough time.  Although technically, the waxing will not be directly on the labia minora (since they have no hair follicles), it could put stress on the incision through the pulling nature of that treatment.  For that reason, I would recommend getting the green light from your surgeon who performed the labiaplasty before doing the waxing.  Although 6 weeks should be enough time, in some rare cases, it may not be and no one knows what was involved in placing that scar there better than the doctor who did the procedure.  It is always a good idea to get input from the one who performed the surgery, as they will be intimately familiar with any nuances regarding your specific case, whereas those of us answering your question can only give you generic advice.
