I just had my BA yesterday and I feel amazing! I would like to know if there is something that I can do to help get some of the fluid retention down. I am taking Bromelain and a clinical support Vitamed product. Have only had to take on pain pill and not taking anymore because I feel fabulous. I am pushing tons of water as well. 1.5 gallons/ day was recommended. I’m probably not meeting that goal but I am drinking at least a gallon. I have swelling in my stomach sides and chest

Answer: Fluid retention Thank you for your question. Rest and fluids are always good recommendations for recovery. Thank being said, should you be particularly concerned with fluid retention, my advice is to follow-up with your plastic surgeon for an evaluation. Best of luck.

Answer: Tincture Of Time! Brad8003. It sounds like you are experiencing normal postoperative swelling after breast augmentation surgery. There is really no way to speed up the recovery process other than drinking lots of fluids and allowing your body to heal. Check in with your plastic surgeon and try to stay patient. Good luck.
