Hi. Over ten years the pocket where the implant lies has expanded. I doubt that a 600 cc will be too big. The suggestion is not unreasonable. Good luck Dr. PG
What is too big for a person depends upon personal preference of the patient. I can not tell you what you think might be too big. You can do a baggy test and add the volume you desire and se if you like it.
A 600cc implant is large, but works in some women. I would suggest going back to your doctor and trying on a 150 cc implant and see if you like that size. Let your doctor help you decide if that size is right for your tissue and frame. Please do not choose an implant that will be too heavy and sag.
Without a posted photo no way to offer you an accurate response. Best to seek a few in person consultations with boarded PSs in your area...
Increasing your implant size by 180cc will certainly make you larger but we can never promise or really predict what your bra size will be. As to whether it will be too large depends on what your goals of surgery are. I would discuss your plans carefully with your plastic surgeon.i hope this helps.Dr. Edwards
Hi ewaversus,Thank you for your question, but without photos and an in-person exam it is very difficult to answer. Most surgeons use body measurements of breast width, nipple-to-notch distance and nipple-to-fold distances to help determine a range of sizes that fit your body. It is hard to say if 600cc implants would fall in this range, but your are increasing in volume by 40% (a rather large increase). Please revisit this with your plastic surgeon to better communicate your goals and understand his/her recommendation for you. Good luck!
Thank you for your questions. It is very difficult to evaluate implant size without an actual examination. Typically, I tell my patients that a 100 cc increase in implant size will increase their cup size by 1 full cup (i.e. for a C sup to a D cup).
Thank you for the question. You will find that online consultants will not be able to provide you with specific advice in regards to selection of specific breast implant size/profile. Adjustment of the breast implant capsules may also be necessary.Ultimately, careful communication of your goals (in my practice I prefer the use of goal pictures, direct examination/communication in front of a full-length mirror, and computer imaging) will be critical. Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering revisionary breast augmentation surgery (regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is:1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work.2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or "D or DD cup” or "too big" etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. 3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals. Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery ( after the use of temporary intraoperative sizers). Viewing the patient's chest wall in the upright and supine positions, with temporary sizes in place, help select the best breast implant size/profile for the specific patient.I hope this, and the attached link (dedicated to breast augmentation surgery concerns), helps. Best wishes.
Thank You for your question!I can not tell you what you think might be too big. If you chose to go with this size you will be noticeably larger. Only you can decide if that is too big. Best of luck of your future cosmetic endeavors!
It is difficult tp answer your question without images as well as your height and weight.Nonetheless, as a rough rule, Robert O'neill published a paper in about 1991 that demonstrated that 1 full cup size equates to 200-240cc volume in most women. It is likely that your size will increase 60-75% of one full cup size then. Good luck.
Hello,Drop and fluff is the phenomenon of tissue expansion and settling of your implants. After your revision surgery, you will be shrinking in size so no drop and fluff will occur, and you should not expect much change in your appearance during the recovery period. I assume you surgeon will be...
Every surgeon will have different recommendations following a symmastia repair. This is partially dependent upon your surgeon's intraoperative findings. If you have developed significant capsule formation in this area, then it is more likely that the repair will hold the sutures...
It is sad reading your dissatisfaction with the size, since the shape and the outcome is really brilliant.I guess you have Silimed or Sientra anatomical macrotextured cohesive gel filled implants 425HI; you admit wider implants and XH profile, give a try to 550XH, they DO provide the effect of...
