This is a very honest review from someone that looked a lot to find the perfect doctor for herself! After loosing 83 pounds, my boobs and my abdomen were a little saggy, not very, but a little, I'd always had some stubborn fat in my lower abdomen area (even when skinny), and the sagginess of my boobs came from the weight gain-loss since I never had big boobs. I was so uncomfortable with the idea of a breast lift (mastopexy) with an anchor, I'm 29 and no kids yet, so the idea of having such a big scar when my sagginess was not that bad, terrified me. 12 different doctors saw me, either in person or by pictures, and most of them told me that I needed an anchor... Dr Perez-Gurri was my 11th surgeon to visit, and BINGO! I found MY match! After I met Dr Perez-Gurri, I knew he was my doctor. He was kind, he listened to all my concerns, he made me feel proud of my body, he was even surprised that I had lost so much weight and my skin was not affected, he also made me try on "my new boobs" and we agreed on sizing in my first appointment, and let me tell you... it makes a big difference. He said and I quote "You don't need a breast lift just yet, when you have children, you will come back", which is what I wanted to hear since I started my research. The personnel is 100/10, all the people that helped me with the entire process: Gaby, Rose, Kathy... the warmest people I know, they truly make you feel like they care, not like a number and certainly not like money. My results are amazing, I have very little scaring, my lipo came out perfect for my body, I'm IN LOVE with my boobs, they look like I always had them and it's only been 3 months. I would recommend Imagos to anyone! Prices are fair and competitive. Do not hesitate it, you won't regret it... Thank you thank you thank you Imagos and Dr Perez-Gurri, for making me feel like a Barbie in my own skin, best investment ever :)
Amazing doctor. When you walk into this facility you’ll notice fine wall art pieces as he is into collecting art. It’s no surprise he is an artist in the surgical field. His bedside manner is a rarity nowadays with all the other meat market like centers that boast cheap surgeries but lack a quality staff from a-z. I am one week post op and I’m still recovering but I love my results and even more, I love the way I was treated by every staff member during my experience there. I had a tummy tuck procedure with ab repair and back and flank lipo. I’m feeling so confident and I’m not even completely healed yet. Great professional setting, warm and patient staff even after the surgery and the doctors are all board certified and so skilled. I need to come back for my breast augmentation and I will go with Imagos again. From Rosemary to Monica to Gabby to Dr. Perez-Gurri Dr. Garcia Dr. Martins and the anesthesiologist, talk about an Allstar team… I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I had a breast augmentation done with Dr. Perez-Gurri about 9 days ago. I couldn't be happier with my results so far and couldn't have picked a better surgeon. Dr. Perez-Gurri himself is beyond thorough, informative, honest and realistic. His staff is just as amazing, all the girls working there have been so helpful and friendly through this whole process and are also all very knowledgeable. I had to have a second consultation due to me second guessing the implant size I chose, and have made a few phone calls with questions about my post op care and I'm always happy with the information and great treatment I'm provided. I have absolutely no complaints, everything has been amazing here from initial consult, second consult, pre-op, surgery date, post-ops...literally everything. The only issue I had was the pain but of course that's due to my own low pain tolerance. I woke up kind of freaking out over how much pain I was in and was instantly attended to. Anesthesiologist was also such a sweet lady and made me feel super comfortable before going under the anesthesia. I was a 34a (5'4, 130 lbs) before my surgery, we had originally agreed on 450cc but I mentioned I felt like I wanted a little bigger, Dr. Perez-Gurri said he would do so if it was a good fit for my body, which he did end up doing. I ended up getting 500cc high profile silicone implants, still only a little over a week post op so clearly nowhere near healed or at my end results but I am already so so so pleased with my results. Cant wait to see how much more I'll love them once all healed up and dropped. I wish I could give them more than five stars!
Honestly I don’t know where to start. I met Dr. Perez Gurri when I was 19 years old. Since then I have had numerous surgeries with him, breast, lipo, nose, tummy tuck. After visiting different surgeons and being very disappointed by the attention and customer service I was receiving, I finally got to Imagos plastic surgery. The staff, the Surgeon, admins, everyone is extremely patient, informative and clean. I was taken through every step from beginning to end. He took the time to be honest and help me figure out what is adequate to my body. The office and surgery areas are extremely clean and that makes me very comfortable as I saw a lot of other offices that didn’t think cleanliness was important. On this post I want to specifically talk about my tummy tuck. I had 2 kids and after my second my stomach got really bad and ended up with a hernia as well. As you can see by the pictures I did not think there was really a way to make my stomach look pre baby. OH MY GOD ... the expectations EXCEEDED. I always say Dr.Perez Gurri is an surgical artist . Because he touches anything and perfects it. I never in a million years would think my body would look this way. And I cannot thank him enough for always helping me with my confidence and taking the time to make sure it’s done right. He’s not about how many surgeries he can fit in a day but how amazing he can deliver results by patience and true detail to your unique body. Jose Perez Gurri you changed my life and I will be forever thankful. Him and his staff have been like a family to me always welcoming and that is very much appreciated when your going through surgery that can feel scary. I trust them 100% and have never doubted the hands I am in. If your looking for a surgeon this is it.
I've wanted a breast augmentation for as long as I could remember so I finally scheduled and got them!! Here I'll track my journey as they drop and heal. I'm 18 years old and pre-op 163 pounds 5'4 kind of an athletic build. My bra size was Victoria's Secret 34 B but I could also wear a C. I asked to be augmented to a D cup. My biggest concern was upper pole fullness and cleavage. I haven't tried any bras on so I can't say for sure how big I am now but they look great. Originally we decided on 375 CCs which concerned me but I was reassured by Dr. Gurri that it'd fulfill my D cup wish. Post-op I was told they went up to 410 CCs to achieve a D cup. I told him I wanted 420 CCs initially so I wasn't too far off. The incision was in the crease of my breast and the placement was partial sub muscular which is what he does for most women to achieve natural results. My surgery was today at 8 AM and everything went as scheduled. The anesthesiologist was fantastic and the clinical staff were great with me. Upon waking up it was a dull aching pain. I felt no pressure whatsoever besides the tight post-operative strap and bra. It was completely tolerable nothing crazy. I'll keep updating as they drop but they look super weird and long because of the swelling. Updated on 6 Mar 2021: Love my results so far!! First 3 days my pain ranged from 6-8 but it wasn’t super intolerable. It was like a soreness pain with some stinging at the incision sites. Sleeping was kind of difficult as I kept waking up every 3-4 hours but so worth it lol. I did hear some gurgling sounds from my left implant, after some research it’s apparently common to have air trapped in the pocket so I’m not too worried. I’ve been wearing my compression band to help with the dropping. Otherwise everything is going well. :) Updated on 21 Apr 2021: I’m still super happy with the results. For a while my right implant looked swollen and higher than the other which gave it the appearance of asymmetry but its starting to settle down and look a little more even.
Loved my results and he is an amazing Dr but his post op care isn't the best. Very rushed. I always have questions but he rushes and makes you feel like you are bothering him. Doesn't offer much info unless you ask.
Dr Perez Gurri, is in my opinion, one of the best plastic surgeons in Miami Dade County. He is kind and knowledgeable and takes his time with you. I had a tummy tuck 3 weeks ago and I feel great. His office staff is helpful and very nice. I’m presently undergoing treatments with their aesthetician post op doing ultracavitation treatments to further my healing and recovery process. My results are so noticeable so far and I’m only three weeks post op. I highly recommend Dr Perez Gurri
Had a consultation with this doctor about 3 years ago but decided to have a second child before getting a BBL. I knew I wanted to use this surgeon for my BBL because he seemed very nice, honest, and competent. His office was very easy to keep in touch with. Flew out out of state to see him. I never had a curvy body and having two kids made my body even more boxy looking. So I told Dr. PG that I wanted a curvy, yet natural looking body. I do not want to look like Kim Kardashian, instead I wanted to look like Kourtney Kardashian (just for body reference). My surgery was scheduled for a Thursday, but had to be moved to a Friday due to their anesthesiologist having to do a surgery at the hospital. For this inconvenience, they offer to refund me for one night's hotel fee, which I was cool with. I only had a BBL done and was under anesthesia for about 5-6 hours from my understanding. Dr. PG was great. His anesthesiologist was super friendly. The nurse and pre-surgical tech were all really nice. When I woke up, my stomach felt so tiny and I had hips!!!! But I was so tired and sore all over. I slept most of the time for 2 days post-op. My before & after (11 days post-op)stats: - Waist - 33.5" --> 31" **I do expect this number to go down because swelling will go down eventually. - Hips - 39" --> 41" - Weight - 134 lbs --> 141 lbs **The weight gain is normal for post surgery due to being swollen. From my understanding, this weight should go back to normal within a few months. - Height - 5'2" I am still extremely swollen and my waist and butt feels very hard, so I do expect my waist to go down a few more inches within the next few months. I can't wait for 3-6 months to past so I can see my final results. I stayed at Coconut Grove during my time with surgery since it was about a 20-minute drive. After that, I rested at the Fontainebleau South Beach and had a lymphatic masseuse named Esperanza who came to my hotel room to give me multiple lymphatic massages. She was amazing! The healing was the most discomfort I've ever experienced in my life, the pain was not bad. Sleeping on my front and not sitting on my butt as much was so hard! I am about 11 days post-op today and feel much better. I would suggest taking 10-14 days off work post-surgery. I am not looking forward to doing this for the next 4-6 weeks, but I will since I paid a lot for this booty and I really want to keep it. I will continue to update my pics. Let me know if you have any questions.
it was a such a good experience, i didn't really feel pain at all only a little when the cast came off! my eyes started getting swollen on the 3rd day and i looked like a turtle but my face is back to normal on the 7th day. love my nose
I must first say that my first impression meeting Dr. Gurri was nothing but WARMTH! His initial presence and speaking with him was knowledgeable, welcoming and approachable. I located Dr. Gurri via internet and watched his YouTube videos, which educated me more on the (BBL) procedure. I ultimately selected him because of his keen attention to detail for each patient. Dr. Gurri also has an understanding that it's not about the amount of CC's with the (BBL) procedure and ALL about the quality of work. I'm now 5 months post surgery and very satisfied with my results so far. Thanks to Dr. Gurri and his staff, especially Gabbi, they Rock!
There are a few factors to consider.....age, previous history of breast biopsy, family history of breast cancer. In essence, your physician is in the best position to guide you. Never compromise and determine what your reluctance may be to having a mammogram. Good luck. Dr. PG
Hi, thanks for your question. Many women wonder the same. A full tummy tuck will remove the skin and fat from the belly button down to your pubic region. The umbilical stalk (belly button) is preserved a new opening on the skin is made to bring the stalk out. Lipo 360 will improve your waist line and under bra rolls. There are limits as too how much may be removed depending on the state you live in. Here in Florida, if liposuction is performed in conjunction with another procedure the amount of actual fat (SNF) removed is limited to 1,000 cc. Good luck, Dr. PG
Based on your photos it is my opinion that you will not. In fact, I feel the 400cc will give you a more natural look to your breasts. I photo taken from the side would have been useful. Good luck, Dr. PG
Hi and thanks for your question. I always tell patients that breast asymmetry is the rule rather than the exception. Without the benefit of your frontal views, I feel you could benefit from a straight up breast augmentation. At most, a circumareolar (donut) breast lift may be required. At times different size implants may be used. Good luck, Dr. PG
Implant deformity on the ribs is seen many, many years after. More than the rib issue I would be concerned about the void left behind after implant removal. There are many women who have removed their implant but with the years the breast tissue has grown. Many of these patients will require a lift and implant removal. If the patient has sufficient breast/fat tissue then a suitable breast mound can be created without the use of an additional implant. Good luck, Dr. PG
