Would steroid injections into the muscle under the breasts for muscle growth be an adequate new breast augmentation technique?

The procedure you are describing is not an approved or recommended option for breast augmentation and in fact may cause you ill effects. Hi.  There's no evidence to show that this would have any benefit at all.  If anything, the steroids could actually cause atrophy of the surrounding muscle and fatty tissues.Breast augmentation with implants, or with fat transfer, are the two only proven ways to achieve a larger breast size.

Thank you for sharing your question.  The most common method of enhancing a woman's breasts is through fat grafting or the use of saline/silicone implants.  Steroid injections will not promote breast tissue growth and can cause more severe issues.   I would recommend you make an appointment to see a board certified plastic surgeon for an in-person evaluation.  They will be able to take key breast parameters, and listen to your desired goals, helping you select the best treatment option.  Hope that this helps

I would not recommend trying to use steroids to augment the breasts.  There are significant health risks that come from this.  If breast implants are not for you, I would recommend trying liposuction and fat transfer as an all natural alternative.

There aren't any peer reviewed studies of which I am aware that would support that in any way. It does not sound like a good idea. Best advice is to obtain a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon near to explore safe and predictable breast augmentation options.

Furthermore, chronic steroid (depending on the steroid) injections into the muscle may weaken and damage the muscle.
