I'm a 49 year old female that's 5'4" and 150lbs. Lost 50lbs over a year ago. Am I a good candidate for implants without a lift? I have denser breast tissue. Breast fed for one year 15 years ago.

Answer: Lift & Augmentation Based on your photo, you would likely benefit from a breast lift in addition to augmentation. Without a lift, implants alone might result in larger but still droopy breasts. A lift will enhance shape and positioning, giving you a more youthful and balanced appearance. Discuss your goals with your surgeon to ensure the best outcome.

Answer: Breast Lift with Implants Thank you for your question. After significant weight loss following breastfeeding, breasts may lose volume and appear somewhat flattened. Because you have sagging and a lower nipple position, a breast lift with implants may be recommended to achieve a more youthful and lifted appearance and to reposition the nipples higher. However, whether implants alone accomplish the desired outcome depends on skin elasticity. If your skin is elastic enough to accommodate the increased breast volume from implants, you may be a candidate for implants without a lift. This approach may be suitable if your primary goal is to enhance volume and fullness while accepting some sagging. Alternatively, a combination of implants and a breast lift may be necessary if you seek a more lifted and youthful contour. Your surgeon will offer personalized recommendations based on an assessment of your breast size, shape, nipple position, and skin quality to determine whether you would benefit more from implants alone or a combination of implants and a lift.

Answer: No You would need a lift/mastopexy. You have too much breast on your abdomen. An implant will provide more fullness and shape but the breast would "waterfall" over the implant and not look pretty.
