I am 48, & fell hard on my right buttock 3 months ago. There was a large & dark bruise for several wks but now i have a 3”dent that is clearly not going away. Ive heard fat grafting in this location can be dangerous w risk of injecting the muscle being unsafe. Id like to know if liposuction of the area around the dent is an option?? Obviously the left buttock would likely need to be done as well. PLEASE HELP?

Answer: Traumatic dent Fat grafting to the buttocks has a zero chance of morbidity when high resolution ultrasound is used to ensure fat is being deposited in the deep subcutaneous layer and not beneath gluteus muscle fascia. This dent represents scar tissue which also needs to be managed too. Simply performing liposuction around it will not be helpful.

Answer: Dent in buttock after a hard fall, is liposuction of both buttocks an option to camouflage it? Thank you for your question and photos. The dent was created by blunt trauma to the buttocks, which bled internally and then scarred. This is difficult to correct with fat grafting. You do not want liposuction around the dent to flatten the buttocks, will look worse than the dent you have. As an expert in advanced body sculpting techniques, I would recommend the GoldIncision method to release the deep scar and inject biostimulators in this area. I am the only GoldIncision licensed surgeon in the US. You have other cellulite depressions in both buttocks which can be addressed as well. This biostimulator injection is done with blunt cannula (not a needle) into the superficial fat and not muscle. This procedure is done awake and standing position under local anesthesia only.
