Dent in buttock after a hard fall, is liposuction of both buttocks an option to camouflage it? (Photos)

Fat grafting to the buttocks has a zero chance of morbidity when high resolution ultrasound is used to ensure fat is being deposited in the deep subcutaneous layer and not beneath gluteus muscle fascia. This dent represents scar tissue which also needs to be managed too. Simply performing liposuction around it will not be helpful.

Thank you for your question and photos. The dent was created by blunt trauma to the buttocks, which bled internally and then scarred. This is difficult to correct with fat grafting. You do not want liposuction around the dent to flatten the buttocks, will look worse than the dent you have. As an expert in advanced body sculpting techniques, I would recommend the GoldIncision method to release the deep scar and inject biostimulators in this area. Liposuction can be done , but liposuction will take volume away from your buttocks and looking at your pictures i am not sure you will be happy with the end results. Fat grafting if done right and all precautions taken is a relatively safe procedure especially when it is used for low volume fat grafting , your surgeon can potentially use an ultrasound and that will give them a better picture of the anatomy so the muscles are not injected and the veins are avoided.I hope this helps, Best of luck!

HelloA hematoma and superficial fat necrosis have developed following trauma. This led to the onset of depression. The best method is to perform a superficial fat injection into the collapsed area. There is no risk associated with injecting fat into the superficial fat compartment. Performing liposuction around it would cause an asymmetrical hip appearance, and the existing depression would not be corrected.

Thank you for your question and including photos. It looks and sounds like you had a hematoma which is a collection of blood. When this happens, the blood can turn into scar tissue which often contracts and causes a dent. The best treatment for this is called Subcision. It is a very quick, minor procedure that I do in my office. The way this is done.... First the area is numbed. Then the sharp edge of a large needle is used to cut the bands of scar tissue. The dent immediately pops out. The whole procedure takes about 15 minutes.

The most reliable way to improve the appearance of the traumatic dent is fat grafting. Liposuction alone would not likely improve the area the way you are wanting. Be sure to visit an experienced board certified plastic surgeon near you to learn more.

Your problem is not one of excess fat in that area, but rather of scar. It would be a fairly straightforward process of minimally, invasive release, and superficial fat grafting. This grafting would not be into the muscle, which is a bad thing to do. A small area of fat grafting will be fairly simple and should give you significant.
