I'm supposed to have a breast augmentation in the morning. I was told by a nurse at my surgeon's office that my ast and alt levels were elevated just over the normal and into the high range. I've never had this happen before and not sure what's causing it. I did stop taking an antidepressant for several days, then started taking the full dose again right before having my labs done. Could that cause the levels to rise? Is my surgery still an option?
