I had 371cc silicone implants done 11 days ago, I developed cellulitis on day9 even though was on preventative antibiotics for 7 days what is the likelihood that I will develop capsular contraction

Thank you for your question. Nobody can predict the exact risk of you developing a capsular contracture. I do believe infection does increase your risk. I have seen reports as high as 25% at 5 years. This does not mean you will develop a CC. Best of luck

Thank you for your question.  Though no one can confirm the likelihood of developing a capsular contracture, I would anticipate the relative risk of a clinically significant contracture being approximately 5%.  Best wishes.

HiIt is impossible to provide an exact answer to your question. There is no doubt that infection or bleeding increases the risk of capsular contracture but it does not mean you will get it. We know that textured implants reduce the risk of it and that some ladies seem much ore prone to it so I am afraid only time will tell.Best wishes

it is difficult to predict CC. the cellulitis is usually more superficial and should not affect the deer placement of the implant. you will need close follow up. ask your BCPS about implant massage at the correct time after surgery.
