In my opinion, there is no evidence that the type of bra that is worn once the breasts have settled(after about three months post-op) will make any difference in the breasts over the long run. So you should wear whatever is comfortable and suits your fashion sense. Best wishes.
In my opinion, wearing a pushup bra after breast augmentation, once the breast implants have settled into place, is perfectly okay. With different types of implants and different types of operative techniques, the time that it takes for the breast implants to settle into place can be different. Be sure to run this by her surgeon.

In the early recovery period I would not recommend push up bras but once cleared to resume underwire and other bra use, they do not pose a risk to your implants or breasts. It is important that after any augmentation that you use good supportive garments to help limit future sagging. Hope this helps.
You have raised a very common question! Once you have been cleared to wear push up bras then its perfectly fine to wear them without any adverse affects. If you find the underwire irritating then you can always make a small incision and remove the underwire.
I usually have patients wear a sports bra that just cup the breasts gently. I do not use it for support per se, more for comfort and to hold any loose dressing.
The bigger the breasts the more they sag. Bras prevent sagging and push up bras after the healing period are fine.
It is difficult to predict CC. the cellulitis is usually more superficial and should not affect the deer placement of the implant. you will need close follow up. ask your BCPS about implant massage at the correct time after surgery.
