I have a double chin which is getting worse all the time. I don't think i have too much extra fat on my face, so the fat under my chin really bothers me. Should I have a mini facelift or lipo or both?

Answer: Minilift versus liposuction alone
Generally speaking if you are under 45 and have isolated fat of your chin area, you can get by with liposuction alone. However, if you are older and if you "snap" the skin and it doesn't immediately go back, you most likely will require removal of the excess skin via a lifting procedure at the same time. It is hard to tell from the frontal view alone whether you need the minilift as well. I hope this information helps.

Answer: Sources of neck fullness
Hello Fernie,
Thank you for the question and the photo. A side view of your face and neck would be ideal to evaluate what treatment would be best. In general, neck fullness can be from fat, laxity, small chin, or gland growth. Depending on what the source of the fullness is the treatment can tailored to suit your goals.
All the best,
