A deep tear trough is due in part to a very adherent orbicularis oculi muscle medically and in let due to a relative deficiency of fat in that area. Fat transfer with or without a transconjuctival lower blepharoplasty approach to lift the muscle off thebone can reliably improve a pronounced tear trough. A brow lift or midface lift will not arsenide areas and filler tends to leave ridges and is temporary.
Sorry that you have spent so much time and money and experienced such frustration on the treatments you have already had. At least from the one front face photo provided there appears to be significant volume deficit in the cheeks that has not been addressed and is contributing significantly to the apparent loss of the overall more ideal feminine heart-shaped, oval face, but which is also contributing to the lack of support for the infraorbital region that is largely responsible for the appearance of the under-eye hollows and tear troughs. A properly injected, appropriately robust HA volumizing filler for the upper cheeks will likely significantly achieve both of the aforementioned goals. You would be wise to make sure that you are consulting with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist filler expert. Hope this helps. Best of luck and Happy New Year.
Dear doodlebop,The tear trough deformity can be a challenging problem. We don't have your full history, such as did you have your lower lids operated on. Fillers, or fat transfer are the usual solutions. The area, as you may know, is very sensitive and there are risks that should be discussed with your surgeon. Good luck!
Nicely posted photo. I might continue to use HA fillers over 3-4 more sessions or nano fat grafting operation ( fee $2,500). Best to in person or virtual consult with …..
Midface, volume restoration can be accomplished a number of ways. Some of these include a mid facelift, implants, use of fillers or fat transfer. To make an accurate assessment regarding the outcome of a plastic surgery procedure we generally need to see quality before and after pictures. There are different ways to address midface volume deficits. I suggest having multiple in person consultations with providers in your community to get a more accurate assessment and better understanding of treatment options.Best,Mats Hagstrom, MD.
I would recommend removing all of the remaining Restylane. Your cheeks look boggy. You may benefit from corrective filler service after that or you might be a candidate for surgery. An in-person assessment would is necessary to have a reasonable idea of what your are likely to benefit from.
You would be a good candidate for lower lid blepharoplasty with CO2 laser resurfacing. Because of your early festoons (worse on your left side), laser resurfacing would be a must. This would soften the transition from your lid to cheek. Best to see an eyelid expert.
Festoons are a tough entity to treat. In my hands, the best option is an extended lower lid blepharoplasty and aggressive laser resurfacing. This surgery essentially gives you a cheek lift and tightens the muscle under the eye. You really need a in person consultation to discuss. Best to see an...
Hello! First of all, if you are not bothered by something, it doesn't matter what people say about you. That being said, if they are talking about the fact that your eyes seem "too wide apart", you're actually pretty balanced overall (and if anything, having wider-set eyes gives a friendlier...
Given the history of prior tear trough treatment with a hyaluronic acid filler it is possible that this is what has been called "under-eye puffy pillows," which can result from prior treatment in the infraorbital region with an inappropriate for the area HA filler and/or which had been injected...
From the photOs provided, it appears as though your issue is related to the muscle which opens the eyelid, not the skin covering the eyelid. If this muscle, or its tendon which attaches to the upper eyelid, is stretched, injured or not functioning properly, you can get a narrowing of the eyes...
