Are vertical raised lines of filler normal a few hours post op of Belotero above my upper lip?

It is not uncommon to have swelling, bruising and raised lines for a few days after filler injection around the mouth.  Gentle massage and ice may help this improve quicker.  If you are still concerned after 1 week I would recommend to follow-up with your doctor.  

It's too soon for your final results. You most likely have swelling, which can last 1-2 weeks after your treatment. If you're unhappy with your final results, you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. Botox is an alternative for lip lines. Best, Dr. Emer

Swelling can occur for up to 3 weeks post treatment. It would be helpful if you posted some pictures. If you are concerned, I would follow up with your provider.

Please allow 1-2 weeks for swelling to subside and see the full results of Belotero. If you have conerns after that I recommend seeing your injecting physician to address those. Thanks for your question.

It is common to have some swelling and bruising after filler injection for perioral/lip lines. Give the swelling a few days to resolve. If you don't notice improvement, followup with your injector to discuss your concerns.

It can take about two weeks to see the final result of Belotero injected for your lip lines.  If you are not happy with the result at that time, please return to your doctor for assessment.  Belotero can be dissolved.

Hi and thanks for your question. It is difficult to give you an answer without seeing your pictures but if you had your injection yesterday you most probably have still some swelling and I suggest you to wait for 1-2 weeks and then see your injector for reassessment
