I don’t mind the shape of my nose overall, I think it suits my face, but I hate the way the tip pulls down so drastically when I smile. Would a tip rhinoplasty by sufficient to fix this problem?

Answer: Rhinoplasty with possible septoplasty You have a small dorsal hump and your nose is long. The nasal columella angle is too acute. You would benefit from a rhinoplasty with possible septoplasty to refine the tip of the nose, change the angle and flatten the dorsal hump. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Your bridge may be too over projected to consider tip plasty the only. Based on your photo, I suspect that your lower bridge sticks out a bit too far to consider just a tip lift. My best advice would be to consult with a reputable rhinoplasty specialist to offers computer Imaging so you can see what to expect after surgery. I hope this helps. Sincerely, Dr Joseph
