I had my implants done around 2 years ago and the skin between my breasts has always been raised. When I sleep, wear a bra sports bra etc the implants always touch. I’ve started getting pain in my breasts which has worried me. I’m thinking of having my implants removed but unsure if I need Symmastia repair also? Thank you

Answer: Explant and Bellesoma Lift Yes, you have symmastia and also have large low breasts that point outward. The technique I recommend is explantation and lift using The Bellesoma Method. The implants are removed, your breast tissue is reshaped creating upper pole fullness, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained, if not injured during your previous surgery. Later, fat transfers or small implants can be placed totally submuscular. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Do I have Symmastia? (Photos) Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. Unfortunately yes you do have synmastia and correction will require a surgery to separate the two implant pockets along your breast bone while also downsizing your implants considerably.
