I am having breast implants taken out along with a lift. I don't want to lift my arms when I have a bathing suite on and see a scar due to a lift incision. My breasts implants are coming out making me go from a D to an A (small B) and I don 't think there would be a crease to hide the scar. Will the scar be visible? Have you ever heard anyone complain about this?
I had my 250cc PIP silicone breast implants removed 5 days ago and was wearing a compression bra as instructed. I am completely flat (back to a AA cup), no excess skin, healing well, minimal pain. I had the implants in 12 years and they were not ruptured, the thin capsules not removed. I cannot wear the compession bra any longer as it is affecting my breathing (asthma). I don't have compression bandages / wrap, just surgical strips over incisions. I am now wearing a looser bra. Is this ok?
I am scheduled for removal of my 350cc sub pect. implants next week. The doctor has recommended a complete capsulectomy as well. My implants are intact and I have no issues with capsular contraction or any other complications. They are just too large and I am ready to have them out. He has recommended using exparel for post op pain control. What should I realistically expect for pain? is exparel really necessary? Compared to the pain from augmentation what will the recovery from explant be like?
I had my breast implants removed 3 weeks ago. They were saline over the muscle. About a week ago, I started to feel a burning or stinging in the bottom 1/2 of my left breast. It is not hot or discolored. Just the constant pain for the last week. It is very sensitive to touch as well. The right breast has no pain at all.
I have had saline implants for 24 yrs (and silicone for 18 yrs before that. I want to either get much smaller implants with a lift, or possibly just a lift with no implants. I feel like Im going to need to see what my breasts look like without implants before deciding but dont really want 2 surgeries. Is it possible to just deflate them, let things settle and then decide? I will need a lift either way. Thank you
Hello, I've gotten implants when i was 18(dumb decision, i know). I have just turned 22. I've gotten 360 cc half under the muscle tear drop motiva implants. I have wanted to get rid of them because they are too big and feel unnatural. I wish i could go back to my natural B cup breasts. My biggest concern is visible scarring and my breasts feeling unnatural, but i'm worried of the sagging that might come with explantation. Will my breasts bounce back naturally? Or maybe internal bra could help?
6 months ago I had 20-yr old large implants removed and a lift. I noticed my skin stretching slightly off of my sternum after getting the original implants but since they have been removed, its obviously much. I am a bit surprised that my surgeon didnt address this recently during the X plant and lift. She did mention things like dermal matrixes, or the only way to fix it would be new implants, but seems reluctant to address it. I need a second opinion but not sure where to start.
Hi! I was a small A before implants and mostly wanted to correct the shape rather than have larger breasts. Ive really hated having implants. I got implants and a lift 2.5 years ago. If I explant and lift again with a skilled explant surgeon, will my breast shape still be round rather than tuberous? Thanks!
I just turned 40 years old had a recent mammogram and my breast tissue is dense and my breasts are sagging causing me alot of depression i would like to have them removed i do have blue cross blue shield my blue insurance
Hi! I have had breast implants for about 16 years, and have decided to remove them since the implants have become deformed. Together with the implant removal, I plan to do a mastopexy (I have small breasts) and an inverted nipple surgery. I live in a different country and will travel on a 15 hours flight to get to the surgery destination and then back. I only have around 12 for everything before traveling back. Is this enough time for these procedures before flying back? Thank you so much
