When I catch a glimpse of reflection my lower face looks weak, saggy and too small, but when I pose and slightly protrude my jaw/chin, I actually like my side profile. Is there anything I can get done so that it always looks like the posed version of my face? I feel like jaw surgery would be too risky and extreme

Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in.

A weak chin is a chin that does not protrude far enough. I see your area of concern. It is possible that the bulge under your Jawbone could be your submandibular salivary gland, so an examination would be necessary to determine what might be best for you moving forward. your options are either jaw advancement surgery, genioplasty, chin implant, and/or filler depending on how aggressive/permanent you want to go. each of these come with their own risks/benefits so make sure to get good consults!

From your picture, it looks like you have a small mandible that has a fairly prominent chin projection.
I’m guessing you have a dental overbite occlusion.
Without formal jaw surgery, it’s going to be difficult to get any significant improvement.
You should definitely not get a chin because your chin is already quite prominent.
It’s not an easy situation to correct because it involves maintaining a healthy relationship between your upper and lower teeth.
 if you want to get an assessment then contact oral surgeons in your community.
I don’t think you’re going to find fillers or other easy treatments to be very effective For this area.
