It's important to have your BMI below 32 before embarking on this type of procedure. When the mandible is small or lacking in projection it doesn’t give enough foundation to support the soft tissues and the resulting And lack of jawline.
If you look at people who have really chiseled chins, they almost always have a really big mandible.
You can tell the relationship between the mandible and maxilla by looking at a profile picture and comparing the upper lip to the lower lip.
The lower lip is related to the position of the lower teeth and thisway to determine the projection of the mandible.
Ideally, the lower lip should have equal or greater projection than the upper lip on a profile picture.
We can’t really advance your job without going through major craniofacial surgery.

There’s nothing wrong with this.
As sufficiently experienced and talented surgeon should have a lot of chin and neck liposuction results on their website.
to find the right provider I highly recommend patient have multiple consultations.
The biggest mistake I see patients make is having only one consultation and then scheduling surgery.
Having only one consultation, more or less eliminates the ability to choose the better provider.
Plastic surgeons deliver results.
No one likes to think their average so most plastic surgeons will claim excellency in almost every aspect of plastic surgery.
Remember that you can’t specialize on something if you also do everything else.
If you can find plastic surgeons, whose practice is focused exclusively on Liposuction, then you’re probably heading in the right direction.
During each in person consultation, ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before, and after pictures of previous patients who had the same facial characteristics.
Bring pictures of yourself to use as reference.
And provider should have more before and after pictures than you have time to look at during the consultation.
They should be able to quickly hone in on examples of previous patients who The same amount of subcutaneous, fat, were of similar age and kind of look like you do.
The inability to bring up an impressive collection of before and after pictures is a major red flag, and you should pretty much say thank you and go onto the next consultation.
I would say at a bare minimum someone should have at least 20 sets of before and after pictures to show you.
highly experienced surgeons should have access to hundreds of before and after pictures.
Take care notes during the consultation, especially regarding the quality and quantity of the before, and after pictures.
When reviewing pictures look very carefully at the neck angle.
Extending the neck makes the results look much better and honest ethical surgeons should maintain before and after pictures with patients holding the same neck angle.
The type of equipment is irrelevant.
The only thing that matters is if they have the skill and experience to get the job done right.
There’s no correct number of consultations needed to find the right provider.
The more consultations you have the more likely you are to find the best provider for your needs.
Personally I would recommend having at least four consultations before selecting a provider.
I can’t emphasize enough of the importance of provider selection.
I don’t mean to sound like an alarmist, but I see too much bad work to not feel worried anytime somebody is contemplating a permanent change that’s irreversible and can lead to disfigurement.
This happens and it happens in the hands of board certified plastic surgeons with good intentions who have proper training, but simply don’t have skill and experience with this particular procedure.
