I removed 360cc breast implants 4 months ago which has left excess skin that doesn't appear to be improving over time. I have folds accross the nipple and one side is slightly less dense than the other. What is the best option for removing this excess skin? I dont want any foreign materials left in my body (including implants or stitches). I'm very slender so would have limited fat available for graft.
Answer: Breast lift, fat grafting In porder to achieve more projected breasts, breast lift would be procedure of choice. Small shape/volume improval can be achieved with simultanous fat grafting. Good luck.

Answer: Breast Lift Dear natasha0x, my preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity. Answer: Mastopexy You likely need a breast lift that uses a combination of incisions around the areola, a vertical incision, and a short horizontal incision in the breast crease. This type of breast lift is referred to as a Wise pattern lift. The reason this is most likely the operation you need is that you appear to have skin excess horizontally and vertically.

Answer: Breast lift A breast lift will remove the excess skin and improve the shape that concerns you. Sutures are involved during the process but they often are dissolvable and your body will break them down over time. I encourage you to visit with a board certified plastic surgeon near you to learn more about your options.

Answer: Which procedure would be the best option for removing excess skin after breast implant removal? Hello @natasha0x, thank you for your question. To prevent long-term inflammation, it is also important to perform a capsulectomy to remove all the capsule. I would recommend waiting a bit longer as it can take up to a year to complete the healing process after breast implant removal. The most optimal and aesthetically adequate option would be breast reconstruction with the BRALAN technique (Breast Reconstruction Anatomical Lift Augmentation). I link a testimonial that sheds more light on the matter. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS.
