I’m 23, had my first breast lift + minimal fat transfer to breasts in early October. My surgeon made my anchor incisions lower for my right breast, since it was less round at the bottom compared to my left breast. But at 6 months my right breast hasn’t filled out underneath, despite the lowered scar. It seems my fat transfer is mostly staying in my upper pole which is upsetting. Will my newly lowered crease fill out over time or should I get another fat transfer?
Answer: Breast Lift results Dear biancabumblebee, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: 6 months post-op, will my breast round out where my lower incision is? Hello @biancabumblebee, thank you for your question. The healing process after any surgical procedure can vary from patient to patient, and it may take up to 6 more months to see the final result. It's important to have patience during the healing process and follow all post-operative instructions provided by your surgeon to ensure the best possible outcome. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD. Answer: Fat The fat transfer is going to stay where it was put. Fat does not move around. Fat could be added to the lower part if you want. You probably asked for a lot of upper breast fullness and that is where your surgeon placed the fat. Please discuss your concerns with your surgeon.

Answer: BL It's not uncommon for breast lift surgery and fat transfer to require several months or longer to fully settle and for the final results to become visible. However, if you are experiencing asymmetry or a lack of volume in your right breast after 6 months, it's important to discuss your concerns with your surgeon. Your surgeon may recommend additional imaging or examinations to evaluate the cause of the asymmetry and determine if further treatment, such as another fat transfer, is necessary. In some cases, asymmetry or unevenness after breast surgery may be due to factors such as natural differences in breast tissue, variations in healing, or other factors beyond the surgeon's control. Your surgeon can provide you with information and guidance on the best course of action to address your specific concerns and achieve your desired outcome. It's important to communicate openly and honestly with your surgeon about your expectations and concerns, and to follow all post-operative instructions carefully to ensure optimal healing and recovery. Best of luck !
